12/11/2013 09:31 | It's happened again! The online price to buy just now was 1.262p but can get 1.285p to sell!! Weird or what? | ansc
07/11/2013 16:27 | On the face of it, there looks to have been 2 x 1.0m @ 1.27p sales today but the current online prices are 1.256p/1.265p. Make up your own minds! | ansc
30/10/2013 14:00 | Just one sale of 560k this morning was sufficient to make the Mingy Machs rush to cover their backs by widening their spread; current online prices 1.27p/1.29p [for 250k]. Unwilling to quote an online price to sell 500k as well whereas they would yesterday. | ansc
29/10/2013 17:02 | Yes, an overall 1,635k bought today. It's puzzling (and a slight concern) that the share price hasn't flinched again and, the longer this continues, the more I'm becoming convinced that there is a large sale being off-loaded. | ansc
29/10/2013 15:50 | Nibble nibble nibble. .... | rogerramjet
29/10/2013 14:38 | According to Google it is on Dec 9th | nick100
29/10/2013 14:15 | No change in the online price quotes this morning. Another 500k has disappeared from the Mingy Machs store cupboard which, with the share price static, must be a very large one. Alternatively, is there a very large 'sell' order being processed? Time should reveal. Meanwhile, the results announcement creeps ever closer. | ansc
28/10/2013 20:25 | By my reckoning, the Mingy Machs have sold another 1,770k shares from their stock cupboard today. They're playing it very cool as the share price hasn't shifted at all during the course of the day. How many more are there left? | ansc
28/10/2013 10:52 | I'm really more interested in the investment case for this company than the trading stats, which I accept are frequently spurious. It has high grade products and customers but has been around since 2000 and has been on AIM since 2005 and it's turnover in H1 2013 was only £1.26m, 18% less than in H1 2012. There seem to be a number reasons for this lack of progress. The method of production, which seems rather laborious and limited to small batches is one; and the lead times required for new sales is another the Airbus test programme, for instance, originally announced in July 2008 was for 3 years but has not, as yet, resulted in any new sales (although it seems likely that it will). | extrap
28/10/2013 10:01 | It all depends on the accuracy (and therefore the interpretation) of the information provided by the Mingy Machs. I actually bought 1.0m on the 23rd (@ 1.27p) and, surprise, surprise, it was recorded as a 'sale'. I wonder why? But you believe whatever or whomever you like. edit: If you had bothered to read posts 2033/2034 you would have known that already! | ansc
25/10/2013 20:13 | With trade 'buys' easily outstripping 'sales' again today - 1,748k vs 115k - it makes one wonder how many more shares the Mingy Machiavellians have left in their 'float' cupboard. Will they be able to hold the price down for much longer? | ansc
25/10/2013 12:06 | In spite of all the 'buys' during the last couple of days (easily outnumbering 'sales' volumewise - 3:1), there's little change in online prices this morning: 1.261p/1.285p [for 250k]. Is there a large sell lurking in the wings? | ansc
24/10/2013 11:31 | This morning's couple of 'buys' have moved the online price slightly, currently 1.255p/1.285p [for 250k]. | ansc
24/10/2013 09:01 | Following yesterday's buying, I decided to add a few more to my ISA this morning and managed to get yesterday's price of 1.27p as well. Keeping a little 'ammo' in reserve just in case that seller does decide to make a reappearance. Rightly or wrongly, looking forward to the Final results announcement - 12th December last year - not for the actual figures themselves but for any update included on the prgress which they've achieved this year. HDD currently tops the short-list (so far) for my 'gamble of 2014'. | ansc
23/10/2013 21:22 | Totally agree with you. There has been a large seller about. Have they finished? | rogerramjet
23/10/2013 21:05 | A sizeable buy (marked as a sale, of course) just before the market closed - 1,025k @ 1.27p. The last time we had a burst of buying activity (approx seven weeks ago), a 'large', persistent seller forced the share price back down. It'll be interesting to see whether they reappear should the price start to rise this time. | ansc
23/10/2013 14:47 | Looking at the marks recorded this morning, it appears as though there have been none bought and 1,060k sold; in reality, the 1.26p marks are sells but the 1.27p ones are actually buys. Thus 1,022k have been bought and just 38k sold, a slightly different picture to the impression given! edit: For the record, online prices [250k] - 1.255p/1.27p | ansc
15/10/2013 09:42 | Your not wrong. I'm expecting some news on Airbus in the next 2 and a half months.Best regardsRRJ | rogerramjet
15/10/2013 08:11 | Haven't had any news for a long now.....!!!! | swong21118
30/9/2013 09:48 | This morning's spread - 1.38p/1.3825p (0.2%!) - is more representative of a FTSE100 stock rather than a tiddly penny stock. Will it be turning turtle again? | ansc
20/9/2013 17:00 | It's little wonder that the share price softened this afternoon with that 1.5m sell lurking in the wings. But encouragingly, the price received was again 1.38p. | ansc
20/9/2013 11:01 | To get 1.38p for a 1.0m 'sell' (just reported) looks really encouraging for those holding; the share price didn't flinch. It's always healthier (imho) for two-way trading as it keeps the Mingy Machiavellians on their toes and stops them blatantly manipulating the price, one of their favourite pastimes. The one drawback, of course, is that they invariably widen their spread. Yesterday it was a pawtry 1.45%, today it's widened to 3.25%. I have to admit, however, that that is still pretty acceptable for a so-called 'illiquid' penny stock. | ansc
20/9/2013 10:15 | Decided to add a few more to my ISA pot this morning and managed to buy at the same price [1.38p] as yesterday's two purchases. There's a strong possibility that, unless something untoward happens before then, HDD could well turn out to be my gamble for 2014. December's statement will probably be the deciding factor. | ansc |
