Metal surface coatings company Hardide Coatings has appointed Bruce Robinson as a non-executive director.

Mr Robinson brings extensive experience of the international oil and gas industry and growing technology-based businesses.

He spent five years as a director and consultant to Scottish Enterprise Energy Group where he led oil and gas technology development and internationalisation programmes. Since then, he has started, run and assisted a wide range of innovative companies developing and exploiting technologies in various industry sectors.

Graham Hine, chief executive officer of Bicester-based Hardide Coatings, said: "Bruce's experience of growing small technology based businesses will assist our strategy to develop new and diversified applications for the Hardide coating technology. His engineering background and commercial understanding of the oil and gas industry is particularly relevant as we capitalise on opportunities for growth in this sector."

I like the fact that it is in a niche market and showing innovation. It also seems to be close to putting the tough times behind them. I will pop over to iii later.

Julcester,

Have you taken a look at the iii bulletin board. There is a lot more talk there. search iii hdd.

This company is working with blue chip companies. That can't be so bad. It looks to be doing different things over a wide range of industries. For me the time to do the testing is a proper pain.

They are getting themselves out there (spreading the word). Opening up Housten will be a very good sign for me.

Hang in there.

I think its just you and me invested here Roj. Nevermind, I'll add on any weakness. It seems to be turning a corner and I can see this doing well.

website news has been updated

Plus looks like some turbine info has been added.

Bit sad to see the share price dwindle after what I thought was good news. Oh well thats how it goes. People have their reasons for selling. Still, I am happy I'm holding. I think it's looking good imo.

Best regards
