You were going to give us an update on the AGM, Please advise when you are going to do it.

On March 5th last year HDD gave a trading update, are we due for one soon I wonder, bought a few more just in case ;0)

When I have time I'll write more about the AGM. Suffice to say there is no doubt whatsoever they are planning to expand. Not sure Huston will happen this year but their talk suggested another UK plant in time to be able to offer Aerospace duality of production to ensure continuity of production.

i know what you mean about 2008 roger. there is almost always high risk with aim stock however i feel that there is a greater "risk on" attitude recently. i can understand people banking a quick profit - it all depends on your m.o., attitude to risk and time horizons. i think that hdd has great potential this year hence my top up. of course i could have stuck my cash in the b.soc for a 1-2% return ;)

There was quite a bit of selling yesterday but also some nice big buys, although less than the number of sells. Seems to be steady today so if people havn't been frightened off, over the next couple of days may see us going up again.
Think we rose too fast too soon and people could not resist a quick profit.

Plus we were in the territory of 2008 where some people may have thought that they may not get their money back from this one.

I have been doing a few Google searches for HDD covering the last month, and the recent contract with EDF energy has been featured in a lot of the trade publications. This may be great news on its own, but i suspect the recent rise has more to do with Hardides prospects for the replacement for "Hard Chrome".

There will always be profit takers after such a big rise, but i can't see this dropping to far after the recent scramble for shares.

I agree the other thread is bettter and has more past information. (and a chart as mentioned. This chart shows the share price direction 15mins before other stuff. It's like real time movement. :-)
