Someone fancies HDD today but not much volume.

Guessing most stock is in the hands of institutions and insiders, not for sale until a much higher price, so the small amount available on the open market can move the price sharply?

Not complaining keep going a long way. I thought this was a good stock at 60p.

Absolutely marvellous news this morning, affirmation that HDD is on to a winner with unique world-class technology and the capacity to take advantage. A nice in-year boost to business, the real prize is what will follow from repeat business and new customer demand.

'Smoke and mirrors' today in respect of the five alleged sell trades marked: all I'm certain about (deduced from online dummy trades made) is that the two 27.05p trades were definitely sells but suspect that the other three were probably buys.

Should get a decent t/u soon showing progress on one or all of current projects. Expecting it to liven up volume from current nadir. Would be opportune time for board to buy if outlook improving. Could be initial indicator.

£16m MCap with just 56m shares in issue means this can easily double on good news and beyond. The SOTA new Bicester factory is very impressive and looks attractive on many fronts. Gearing could escalate price quickly here.

Horizon scanning, it looks like newsflow pipeline may have several near-term triggers looking at the May interims. RNS on any one could propel the share from this level as Covid risk falls. IMO the EV battery application could prove prescient as the company now has excellent green credentials. Check the new factory stats and new work with batteries and wind turbines. I think Killick has seen this and loaded up before bigger players see the need to have stocks like this in play.

I have baled out of HDD and taken a loss. Disillusion has come about because I cannot see a gearing factor in their process which is where real profit explosions come from. AIUI The kit needed to coat a widget will only cope with n (say) per month. If the customer wants more then HDD must buy and set up a new machine so there is no economy of scale just a linear rise in turnover. Simplistic maybe, but something doesn’t quite stack up. And I needed to take some losses for cgt reasons.
