The HDD share price making welcome progress while the rest of the market is struggling, someone has spotted the great outlook here.

Average volume is 62k so without that trade is considerably above average which is more relevant.

The London stock exchange (LSE) Web site says 165,486.ADVFN says 366,880. If you subtract to 200k ish share I mentioned earlier it agrees roughly with the LSE.I'm not too bothered about it but the way they count shares that are put on in error that are taken off later can sway the trades and give false information. That's my take on it anyway. I'm not at all technical about this matter.All I'm interested in is this share going up. Results in May to look forward to. What's going on at the moment I'm not too sure. Let's hope it's your technical 50p.RegardsRRJ

Was the volume swayed though by the 100k ish sell and then negative 100k ish sell I mentioned earlier. You have 200k ish there if I understand it correctly.RegardsRRJ

A sell of 98592 at 8:33:55 at 35.5p negated at 11:15ish on the 15 Apr 2021No wonder the share price never budged down and the share price continued up. RegardsRRJ

So I'm not the only one trading these spikes . Love the regularity of them but sure enough even selling my last 5,000 share tranche at 27.25p /share It'll one day get an RNS to break through the 40p resistance . Not that I'm worried since it's equally likely to retrace back to 27p /share support hence just banking profits on a regular basis for now .
I'm a fully qualify engineer and love the fact a replacement for chrome has evolved . I worked for Lucas Girling car brake , shock absorber , lorry brake manufacture where thickness of chrome / zinc passivate / stove enamel always gave positives but brittleness always reared it's ugly head . Yep I was in design , development and production and just wish we had a tungsten coating back then .

Big issue here is that the begging bowl gets a frequent dusting as the company generates no cash. Directors have comfortable lifestyles to maintain.

This share goes up on fluff is there is a hint of people buying. It also goes back to where it comes from due to lack of interest afterwards. It might not this time around though. This is where you need a nice shiny crystal ball. Mine is broken. All I can think why it is going up because things are starting to happening in the oil and gas industry, due to Covid puting a dampener on things, which will lead to higher oil and gas sales later on in the year. They have also diversifed a lot so not totally reliant on oil and gas although oil and gas is still a big part. Yes there is aerospace but if you have waited about 10 years for it you can perhaps wait 2 more. I know I am. How long have we been waiting for the helicopter thing! I think coating the turbine blades will be nice but the coating is not "ronseal" (it does what it says on the tin) yet so there will be a lot of testing to do. All IMO and DYORRegardsRRJ

Only 80k shares traded so far (according to ADVFN marks) so this share price spike hardly caused by supply/demand. Will time tell?

The two trades marked @ 26p today (as '?'s) were definitely buys (one being mine) as was the one @ 25.999p trade marked as a sale.

Er yes. But I notice there is very little posted about the share price and the disastrous performance there. You might as well say there is a big global and growing market for pharmaceuticals therefore Glaxo must be doing really well.
