I thought we'd see 1200p a couple of weeks ago but the German license news put an end to that climb. I'm happy with my current profit of around 6% until we see what kinda dividends are on offer.

Apparently Fanduel/pointbreak did a huge giveaway on the opening day and took a lot of market share from Draftkings. It remains to be seen whether they will cling on to this month on month.

Usual suspects take top revenue spots

"Once again, the Meadowlands and its two partners, FanDuel Sportsbook and PointsBet, took the top revenue spot with $28.2 million. More than $25 million of that revenue came from online.

Resorts Digital, partnered with DraftKings Sportsbook and FOX Bet, was second with $4.8 million.

BetMGM partner Borgata did $4.1 million in third place while Monmouth Park and partners William Hill, theScore Bet and Rush Street‘s PlaySugarHouse finished in fourth with $3.5 million."

Total handle amounted to USD ~749m (up 68% y-o-y), while the sportsbook margin of ~6% paved the way for GGR of USD ~45m (up 19% y-o-y, note the tough comparable as last year’s sportsbook margin amounted to ~8.5% ). For the full Q3 this corresponded to Total handle of USD 1,731.6m (up 74.8% y-o-y) and GGR of USD 116m (up ~43% y-o-y). We also note that online casino & poker continues to perform strongly and that GGR amounted to USD ~87.6m (up 113% y-o-y).
Increased competition
We note that FanDuel (63% market share during September) continues to dominate. Aside from this, we note that competition has picked up and that DraftKings saw its market share decrease from ~24% in August to ~11% in September (Note, one reason behind this might also be that DK gave away USD ~10m in free bets on the NFL opening night in promotions). We also note that HardRock (Bet365 and Kindred uses its skin) was up 85% m-o-m within sports betting. Moreover Monmouth Park (Rush Street and William Hill) increased its market share from 4% in August to 8% in September.
