There are loads of large UK facing companies trading with single digit p/e. GVC is not alone and represents a great buying opp.

Loganair, at the moment, but in 10yrs time i wouldn't bet against it. Kenny has a reputation for reverse takeovers, Sportingbet £485m then BwinParty £1.1bn, then Ladbroke £3.2bn.

Don't know maddog. Just thought would send out a different view. You got increased taxes and/or regulation in UK, Australia, Switzerland and Italy in 2019. CFO done a runner. CEO sold a load of shares at 10 quid. Then you have possibly increased US losses to come, and a balance sheet that's levered to the eye balls. Just saying... can see why some might be nervous.

There is no way GVC could buy out MGM as MGM are 10 times bigger then GVC.

MGM buy GVC or/ GVC buy MGM after 10 years. "The pact includes a commitment of 25 years from GVC and MGM, with an option in their agreement to buy each other out after 10 years."

maddog: GVC has tip-top management, pretty much faultless I'd say: it'll perform well once this poor patch is past. This stock is for grown men and the global situation is not the happiest @ end 2018 IMHO

I reckon they've got about 170 million of regulatory headwinds to profit over the next 2 years. A lot of that coming in 2019. Thats what's not too like.
