Regarding the CVR issue. The £2 limit is not yet law. It is still progressing through the legislative process. You can follow the progress of the statutory instrument that is being used to put the law in place at this link:

No concerns raised so far and given that all sides of the house supported it, it can only be a formality that it will become law in time to avoid any CVR payout. What could possibly go wrong? Eh? What.....?

Suggestions they cannot pay their debt are laughable, as is the current valuation. As a sub 100p holder I've seen plenty of ups and downs over the last few years and am sorely tempted to add at the current ridiculous valuation (yes I also added at 790 and 900). As it's been before, I am sure this current shake will pass and some good news on various fronts will move the price upwards quickly.

Imagine the share price if gvc hadn't posted stellar results, hadn't done the mgm deal everyone else wanted to do and hadn't done the £50m Aussie acquisition only the other week! Lol

regarding the cvr issue i was lead to believe that the fobt ruling waa being brought forward and that would stop gvc having to pay out.

Nonsense the debt is very manageable. Stop scaremongering. This company throws off plenty of cash and the debt isn't the issue. The CVR repayment will be an issue if it comes to pass but that is not likely.

For any who may be interested or worried Royal Mail Group & Just Eat are the 2 companies being demoted from the FTSE 100 in the December review while Hiscox & Spirax Engineering were both in Automatic entry positions so have been promoted to the FTSE 100 index.

Sorry I'm new but can the company issue RNS to stop this rout it's crazy. WMH and PPB 888 has not fallen this much its shredding 5% on daily basis. Kenny should step in I read that £20 share price article but with world slow down could be very hard.

Giulyss ~ Kenny is most astute. Also, as stated earlier: sectors rise and fall, the big boys like to go short when a stock has gotten ahead of itself. I am back in today
for the growing income stream. Good luck all

I would assume if this fall continues then the FTse100 rating must be in danger!!!
Isn't there reschedule at the end of the year ?

They won't be able to pay back the debt, that's why it's falling down badly

I reckon it's the Corbyn factor that is a significant part of the reason for the continuing fall. Every time it looks a bit more likely that Corbyn might win an election, the sector gets the jitters.

Wow what a fall.1170 - 630.The question is - have the business fundamentals changed? Remember GVC is 45% UK and 55% RoW. The UK % is falling all the time.GVC has been growing around 10%+ a year organically. If the UK market stalls then you might still expect 5% growth pa.The dividend last time was 16.5p. That's now over 5%.Personally I'm expecting 17.5p next time (and if they can afford it a special div - 2.5p?? - In order to show strength.Medium term in the UK smaller players may go out of business leaving GVC sitting pretty.Medium term the US jv will start to generate revenue, then profit and dividends.Medium term the UK % will sink to below 20% and GVC will be more stable.Roll on the next quarterly report in January. I'm not sure if anyone picked up on this from Kenny just a few days ago.

GVC Holdings CEO Kenny Alexander is aiming to raise the company's share price to £20 within three years.

"It’s all about delivering shareholder value. In three years’ time, I’d hope the share price is £20. That’s what I would like to think.

"How do we get there? We have quite a few ideas. The US is obviously going to be important. Organic growth and grabbing market share in our key markets will be important and we might do more M & A.

"But what I want to do is get to £20 and reward our shareholders. I’m a shareholder as well and that’s what it’s all about."

If you have a long term view, and I mean 5 to 10 years plus, then there's no real need to be concerned. Just bad luck if you bought in the last few months, not a disaster though.

jonny_wright previous support was 679 and it didnt stop it from going down. Do you think even with slow down this will hit 12/13 pounds?

Easily, I bought in on the back of the MGM deal, that’s massive in my opinion... can see the market cap being 8-10bn in under 5 years.... they are dropping the share price down to these levels to take the candy from the baby, I’m 4k down and annoyed but I’m cool cause it’s a long term play and it’ll reward all those that are loyal
