09/1/2019 08:38 | From citywire Numis upgrades GVC after rule change Numis has upgraded gambling company GVC (GVC) after the government enacted legislation to introduce the £2 stake limit on fixed odds betting terminals (FOBTs) from March. Analyst Richard Stuber upgraded his recommendation from ‘add’ to ‘buy’ with a target price of £10.98 on the shares, which jumped 3.7% to 715p yesterday. The legislation has removed the ‘tail risk’ surrounding GVC’s £676 million ‘contingent value right’ (CVR) liability related to the Ladbrokes Coral acquisition. ‘GVC shares are 40% below the highs reached in July. Given the importance of positive earnings revisions in the current market conditions and the strong fourth quarter 2017 comparator, we had until now been reluctant to turn more positive,’ he said. ‘With the busy football period passed without major incident and the CVR risk removed, we raise our recommendation… | shauney2
09/1/2019 08:27 | Good to see upward movement today - we should be looking at a rerating back to the mid 800s to start with. Nothing to stop that move in terms of revenues/growth etc. Momentum traders will pick up on this now as the chart looks pretty healthy with the bottom having been met. Missed the 600s to buy unfortunately | trentendboy
09/1/2019 07:24 | maddog I agree could have made more sold at the right time however late to buy back but it's worth taking the risk I feel as its not going to be flying straight up there will be bumps as sentiments in the market goes crazy with Brexit and MPs wrangling with everything in the HOC. | warik
08/1/2019 14:10 | Re: Help: This may be useful. How did we ever discover anything before Google?? 🤷♂ Under the terms of the Merger, on Completion, the holders of bwin Interactive Entertainment AG shares (the ‘Existing bwin Shareholders’) will receive 12.23 shares in bwin.party in exchange for each share which they hold in bwin Interactive Entertainment AG. Immediately following Completion, and assuming full uptake in the Merger of the shares in bwin.party by Existing bwin Shareholders, bwin.party is expected to be 51.69 per cent. owned by Existing bwin Shareholders and 48.31 per cent. owned by existing holders of PartyGaming Plc shares (the ‘Existing PartyGaming Shareholders’) also: | hawaly

08/1/2019 12:24 | Help. I have held shares here since April 2007 when they were PARTYGAMING. At some stage between this date and March 2011 when PARTYGAMING merged with BWTY my shares were apparently reduced to 1 for 10. Could anyone please confirm this and what the date was when this happened. | nolacolton
08/1/2019 10:12 | Slowly slowly regaining ground - could get to 8 very quickly even once the news of the LADS non payment kicks in. Any positive US update would send them flying | trentendboy
08/1/2019 08:17 | I wouldn't hold your breath regarding the trading update. Even though we are technically not yet in a bear market, the way stocks are being hammered, has all the hallmarks of being in one. So, good news is discounted/ignored and bad news is dire for an share price As long as I see news that supports continued dividend growth that will do for me at the moment. Then, when times get better there will be a significant re-rating for the shares, just a shame I don't have a large amount of free cash to take advantage of the current depressed share price | mylands
07/1/2019 17:16 | Agreed it was all bullocks wait of 10 days opens and goes down ridiculous very disappointing hopefully trading update will be better. | warik

07/1/2019 00:09 | yes 3000 shares bought 2000 Friday Dow and all other markets are up as of now so hopefully nothing changes in the morning GVC can open 700 plus this has happened with WIZZ & PLUS500 for me and other way around so I'm hopeful with all the bullishness GVC hits 800. If all things are good I will buy more tomorrow let's see. | warik
06/1/2019 22:23 | "When I last sold at 669 for the first time when it went on to drop to 629 I took a hit of £6500 and since then I have recovered and now that stands on £3900." Trading with too bigger position perhaps? | bulltradept
05/1/2019 05:54 | Maddog that's great much better 900+ it's just depressing when you are below 700 but I have been buying and selling on spikes and lows. When I last sold at 669 for the first time when it went on to drop to 629 I took a hit of £6500 and since then I have recovered and now that stands on £3900. Before the bell I bought again at 688 hopefully it will go up Monday on the news and recover some more. I don't think it will straight run up will get downs then ups and I want to cash out on ups and cash in on downs so it's perfect as day trading stock that wasn't my intention however the plunge as put into this position. things looking much better than when this was crashing to 629. Good Luck for Monday let's hit 800 lol. | warik
04/1/2019 19:42 | warik i got my average down to 833 now which i feel more comfortable with. | maddog68
04/1/2019 19:20 | Maddog Don't worry there are people who want this stock for 5p to buy doesn't mean it's gonna happen. Wishful thinking or Day Dreaming. I think with the cancellation Monday may go up by CVC cost guess around 36p plus hopefully 750p. Remember last time round the news broke out and it went up to 749/750 I will be happy with 725 too. 17th when the trading update comes may hit 850 you never know. Dow gone up today by nearly 750 I feel market will get back to normality now. Dont worry just relax latest TP is 1300 so let's see my avg is 878. Plus we will get 16p as dividend so not bad. | warik
