20/11/2018 17:35 | I think the next ftse100 review will be on the 3rd Friday of December. | coxsmn
20/11/2018 17:13 | Just checked which shows us placed 95th in the Footsie ranking when the share price was 787p. With the share price 39p lower we must be close to exiting the Footse at the next review date. | mylands
20/11/2018 17:07 | Bear in mind also chaps, that sentiment across the board is poor, my portfolio has been hammered since the start of October.....and of course there is the elephant in the room....Brxxxt ! | gorilla36
20/11/2018 17:01 | current divi cover of 2x along with double digit growth, market share gains and opening up of US means there is plenty of scope to increase dividends in the future. even now, if the company decided, it could pay a dividend of over 7% with cover of 1.2x based on the current share price | coxsmn
20/11/2018 16:44 | Agree Logonair!! I keep adding whenever funds permit. | burn248
20/11/2018 16:42 | Yes same. Nonetheless the share price performance and sentiment is concerning. The dividends are not particularly special anymore either.I do think it is likely to ping back but it is certainly out of favour.I'm also not entirely sure buying Lads was brilliant although there was a level of necessity involved in terms of balancing the portfolio interns of regulated markets. Just not this regulated!! | noujay
20/11/2018 16:40 | Totally agree loganair. | coxsmn
20/11/2018 16:38 | As with most shares, overshoots of the down side. GVC is a highly profitable company and well run by its management and therefore I am very happy to remain invested. | loganair
20/11/2018 16:35 | Target price 1300 so plenty of upside lolhttps://www.share | coxsmn

20/11/2018 11:04 | Why wouldn't it be signed off, the amendment brings forward the implementation of FOB to April 2019 from Oct 19. The Tories decided to make this change and it is an amendment called for by the opposition parties as the right moral thing to do to save lives, why would they not sign off an agreement that is considered almost unanimously to be doing the right thing and saves lives. | coxsmn
20/11/2018 10:44 | If the bill doesn't get signed into law then it's payout time for Lads holders, although GVC obviously would benefit from the higher stakes. | noujay
20/11/2018 10:08 | Surely if the finance bill is not signed off the £2 limit will also not come into law.A win win for GVC! ! | burn248
20/11/2018 09:59 | Well as Popper says it's not law yet and the DUP are threatening to withdraw from their supply agreement with the Tories. They abstained last night on the Finance Bill to make the point, but a Govt concession got them back in-line. So it looks knife edge at the moment, but are the DUP really looking for the fall of the Govt? The DUP's current negotiating power comes from a delicate imbalance between the political parties that might go with a new general election. They're not that stupid surely. | maddox
20/11/2018 09:08 | Been away for a few weeks, but seen the increasing steepness of this fall. Like others didn't think we would see a 400pt fall in a couple of months! At some point the trading numbers, and there is nothing to suggest they aren't continuing to trade well, will kick in to either to reverse the fall or at worst stop the fall. If it's the latter at what level? | mylands
20/11/2018 08:55 | US is taking off the tie up with MGM not even priced in yet. | burn248
20/11/2018 08:45 | According to the latest Edison note EPS falls sharply to 55 and 62 the next two years...surely this doesn't help the share price. | macarona
20/11/2018 08:39 | Bought a few more unbelievable buying opportunity Imò! !! | burn248
19/11/2018 19:41 | expect it will be signed off shortly | coxsmn
19/11/2018 16:15 | Coxsmn, yes put to the two houses last week but not signed off yet. See second item here: | popper joe
19/11/2018 15:28 | Said in a recent article, change to FOBT was expected to be signed off last week. | coxsmn
19/11/2018 10:28 | I think the point is that it has not yet become law. The expectation was that it would become law when the budget passed in to law. The ongoing turmoil in the government means that there is a risk that the government might collapse and the budget never gets enacted. In that scenario, the March 29th deadline for the enactment of the FOBT change would be missed. By announcing that the implementation date has been brought forward to beginning of April and decoupling the FOBT issue from the budget, the risk of it not being enacted before the deadline has been all but removed. I believe the statutory instrument that is now going to be used to enact this is going to be put before parliament this week. | popper joe
19/11/2018 10:07 | Hmmm I don't think that the Edison note is quite right. The CVR is dependent upon the date the legislation is enacted, ie becomes law, not when it comes into effect. Thus the CVR is unaffected by the earlier introduction of the £2 FOBT limit. | maddox
19/11/2018 08:50 | Added a few for the wife this morning, nice | coxsmn |
