I've thought that about every share I've ever had.But...there are certain shares, like this, that are underpinned by huge cash flow and decent dividends, and consistently great results. This is undervalued, it will recover.

Well what I meant was it needs to go up by £2 for my break even at 877. I would love 1000p or even 900p. I'm but frustrated with red all day on my screen.

For any who may be interested or worried Royal Mail Group & Just Eat are the 2 companies being demoted from the FTSE 100 and Hiscox & Spirax Engineering were both in Automatic entry positions so have been promoted to the FTSE 100 index.

There is so much rubbish being talked about Brexit.

1. All members of the EU are also members of the EEA, however all members of the EEA (Norway, Iceland & Liechtenstein) are not members of the EU.

2. The EEA and EFTA are completely different organisations, however so often they are being talked about as one and the same thing Switzerland is a member of EFTA with Norway, Iceland & Liechtenstein while it is not a member of the EEA.

When the UK leaves the EU it is still a member of the EEA as the UK has not put in to leave the EEA only the EU.

Great I didn't know the history of GVC so I was just baffled at the numbers.

When I bought GVC I never thought 729 was possible or even 745 forget of 669. My worry is there are other shares like RRS you want park and that will go up on short term rather than long term.

There was an interview from Kenny that he would like £20 share price in 3 years however with recession looming maybe in 2 years time is £10 possible in a years time?

I don't know what to do others have fallen but % wise GVC has been hit harder.

Another thing I was thinking about trading update due in January is it worth to hit now and when it starts going up or markets comes to it senses buy it back. Regardless it need to go £2 for me to break even. I don'tknow any suggestions?

As someone pointed out earlier, its just sector rotation and it happens to every sector at some point. It's very different from a company specific profit warning. The funds get scared by something, in this case FOBT and hurry out en masse and the hedge funds move in to short the sector. Private investors see their capital collapsing, panic and sell, making easy money for the hedge funds. The trick is not to panic, but take a long term view and ask is there still demand for this business? Take a look at the mining sector a few years ago, metals prices had fallen below the cost of extraction. Giants like Anglo American collapsed. At one point I was nursing an 85% loss and was nearly panicked into selling. The financial press were screaming the end of mining. And yet I asked myself does the world still need metal? Instead of selling I bought more and more and waited. As the sector returned slowly to favour the profits rocketed to 500%, much more had I waited. Let them play their games, opportunities are hidden amongst the pain of capital erosion. I am not yet adding here, but I am at WMH.

There is one certainty and that's when people are worried about the future and the government is in turmoil then people gamble more!!!

I think, before anyone gets into too much analysis as to why this has fallen, look at what the other gaming companies have done. GVC has performed in line with the sector, with only JPJ and PLUS performing better. All,except for PPB and PTEC had highs in 2018.

GVC down 43%
WMH down 53%
888 down 51%
PPB down 46% (High in Mar 2016)
JPJ down 38%
PTEC down 60% High in Jul 2017)
PLUS down 30%

This isn't the same company as 2005 to 2010Then it was a tiny operator in one illegal market, paying dividends which people didn't believe were sustainable. But now, by international expansion, acquisition and growth it's a huge organisation underpinned by massive cash flow. The debt is high now, but has been in the last, and always get paid down with cash flow.

there are many more on Barclays than HL which I use but some are repetitive and also I haven't seen 1 for December. Another imp thing on HL is all pointing down the target price since the highs of 1184.

I hope I'm wrong and it goes up to atleast 750 and I will be out. This share is too volatile in this volatile market.

Sadly I was watching the market all year last year when it was climbing without reason and when I put my money as per CNN, CNBC, FOX AND BLOOMBERG analyst most ppl think ressession could be 18 to 24 months away as its been the 2nd longest bull run with yield curve etc.

I'm just scared of looking at gvc share price from 2005 to 2007 it was crazy from 800 odd to 70 I don't know why but looks crazy don't want a repeat that's all.

Well I only followed just before ex dividend date and thought expensive about 1000 plus. I only looked at it sadly wish I didn't 7/8 Nov when it dropped from 950 to around 880 and I captured at 877. It hit his new low at 740 and went up to 841 should have come out at loss but stayed it now loss more than 7k in hindsight should have got out at 705 but never mind.

the new support is at 608 and shows bearish for short medium and long and feel 608 could be breached this week as its just crazy how people are selling.

BTW in this volatile market fundamentals, balance sheet dividends go out of the window as per my friend who's a commodity trader working for French investment bank.

So I'm hoping the drop doesn't force me out as if this drops another £1 from here it's over £10k but if get out now and it drops a £1 I saved myself £3500.

Maddog, if it went anywhere near 500p, the dividend yield would be amongst the very highest, and worth buying for that alone, by every institution going!
