Sounds like the ICG have seen the contracts in some capacity so it'll be interesting to see what they next blame as a blocker. The amount of dithering going on is more than impressive.

Apikur includes founding members DNO ASA, Genel Energy Plc, Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd., HKN Energy Ltd. and ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. Hunt Oil Co.

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today, Sunday, with Hamid Jafar, Chairman of Crescent Petroleum, and the accompanying delegation. Hmm funny I thought.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.
But you can make it thirsty.

I note that sarah is really agitated, very concerned and obviously has had a new batch of what ever she's smoking these days, old shag?

Poor old sarah is getting her knickers in a right old twist as this what I said and she knows that full well.

"Also aren't the KRG to hand over 400k a day rather than what beernut is getting wrong?

Isn't that something that you sarah and scotty snowflake have stated on numerous occasions Erbil will never do?

$156 per barrel you say, lol. But then again none of you gullible suckers have ever been able to do maths innit.

I expect BB's calcs to be far more accurate than all the tripe you rampers post.

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today, Sunday, with Hamid Jafar, Chairman of Crescent Petroleum, and the accompanying delegation.

The Prime Minister's Media Office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA),” The meeting reviewed the progress of the projects undertaken by the company in Iraq, particularly the company’s project within the fifth licensing round. The discussion also reaffirmed the government's vision to expand productive partnerships with regional and international companies and economic groups, in cooperation with the Iraqi private sector, as part of the government's economic reform agenda.”

Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized,” that the government has provided a secure investment environment and attractive financial and banking facilities for experienced companies. These efforts aim to provide continuous cooperation opportunities, positively impact the local economy, create jobs, and maximize Iraq’s resources from its oil wealth. The goal is to convert at least 40% of Iraq's oil exports into refined petroleum derivatives and products, in addition to investing in natural gas.”

Hamid Jafar expressed his appreciation for the government's efforts to facilitate all necessary conditions for productive work. He acknowledged the Prime Minister's efforts to remove obstacles hindering investment companies and to implement measures that enhance cooperation.

Following events in Benidorm, a pleasant 28 and sunny.
Anyway, if Iraq try to put one over on IOC's, I hope they walk away. It was Iraq that brought the court case when they could have resolved it amicably.
Iraq shows no respects for its people who are being desertified, as long as the ruling families are maintaining their wealth they don't give a damb about the poor and lack of water.

Time to have a meeting with the IOCs get the situation resolved and get that pipeline open.

What's more important, water or oil.

Erdogan is watching.

Today - Iraq's water crisis: Basra's struggle for survival.

Shafaq News - "Situated at the crossroads of Iran, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, Basra is a city surrounded by salt-stained desert plains and the flares of oil fields. Once known as the “Venice of the Middle East,” Basra's former glory has faded, leaving behind brackish water canals filled with waste.

Levels in the Tigris and Euphrates rivers have fallen by 30% since the 1980s and are expected to fall by a further 50% by 2030, mainly as a result of the construction of dams in neighbouring countries. These are alarming figures, given that rivers account for more than 90% of the country’s freshwater reserves.”

I don't think any of that will cut it with Washington and Ankara. Remember it was Al Sudani who went to both Biden and Erdogen and said that he was the guy to fix everything. They won't want to hear about petty internal struggles.
