08/6/2024 12:23 | Less than 15 months and the KRG can go it alone and export via the pipe regardless... | ozzmosiz
08/6/2024 12:20 | Who cares. If they come to an agreement great. If not...tick tock. | pittcock
08/6/2024 11:46 | Standby for nothing to come out of this meeting tomorrow. | adamrugen1066
08/6/2024 10:50 | So the Federal Government have requested an "urgent" "emergency" meeting because they need to restart exports "as soon as possible". But first they feel the need to set preconditions and mess everybody about, generally get everyone's back up and say they haven't seen the contracts. In my opinion APIKUR should just say no. Cancel your rulings that the contracts are illegal and then we can talk. Just as well that most of the people on the APIKUR/IOC/KRG side will be lawyers. If this is to get over the finishing line before September next year we can be sure the ICG will be dragged there kicking and screaming. | habshan

08/6/2024 10:42 | Nobody is f'cd.The company is blindingly obviously sold. The AGM resolutions make that very clear. All the rest is a side show. | redbed
08/6/2024 10:15 | WE ar F'd again. Think as an Arab when you read. Throw all common sense out the window. Unions taboo. | hydrocarbon1
08/6/2024 10:08 | If the contracts are with the Krg it’s down to them to have each specific contract. Gla | beernut1
08/6/2024 10:03 | The contracts are all Public Record Documents - have been for years. What are not (yet) PRDs are MoUs and other side agreements that have been entered into. These are what the Baghdad authorities are really interesetd in obtaining, some information has already leaked out and it's clear that all is not what it seems. | broadford bay
08/6/2024 09:51 | I’m sure the Krg have said the contracts are available many times before, and am guessing have a copy of the contract also. I’m guessing if they knew on Friday they’d have time to get them before boarding plane. | beernut1
08/6/2024 09:44 | "Habshan, the key difference this time is the ticking 🕰️... That as well. I get the strong sense that the Federal Government have at last realised the hopelessness of their position. This weeks meetings will be "interesting". Daniel Day-Lewis - "There will be blood". | habshan
08/6/2024 09:38 | Sorry 40,000 bpd | beernut1
08/6/2024 09:34 | Mystic Gerbil prediction I’m of similar feeling I’m hoping Krg step in a pay difference ( don’t they get to keep all production over the 4000 barrels a day that Baghdad have asked for) Gla | beernut1
08/6/2024 09:23 | For me, if the 🕰️ ticks to less than 1 year left on the ITP independence it’s lights out Vienna for Iraq. The Kurds will see out the final 11 months on a point of principle ✅💪 That deal has to be done now. Iraq are in the last chance saloon 🤠 | steephill cove
08/6/2024 09:14 | Exactly, over a decade instils this in us here. I have been negative in recent times here but believe good returns to be made . | hydrocarbon1
08/6/2024 09:13 | Habshan, the key difference this time is the ticking 🕰️ until they dont earn any money from the ITP & Kurdistan oil sales FOREVER ⌛️ And still have to pay $0.7BN per month FOREVER to the Kurds for salaries from Iraq oil sales 💥🥊 | steephill cove
08/6/2024 08:53 | "Hab I hope you are correct" But one thing that we need to remember, and it's a big but, is that the minds of Iraqi politicians work in very mysterious ways. As we've seen over the years they don't think the way logical and rational people think, what guides their thought processes is emotion. Which is how they got themselves into this fix in the first place. Let's see what happens but getting them to back down which is what needs to happen if the constitutional contractual and legal rights of the Kurds and IOCs are to be secured will not be easy. Their massive egos arrogance and sense of honour won't allow them to go down without a fight. | habshan
08/6/2024 08:24 | Hab I hope you are correct, I added a couple yesterday but actually not that easy to get. I would like to see £2.00 then £3.00 in next week if all as rosy as professed. | hydrocarbon1
08/6/2024 06:13 | "Kurdistan Region has a total of 1,114,194 civil servants with a total monthly salary of 913 billion dinars." That's $693 million a month that the "Supreme Court" has ordered the Federal Government to pay and not use it as a way to blackmail the Kurds over the oil issue. In one fell swoop the ICG lost their biggest lever and were hit with that huge bill which is coming out of Basra oil. Meanwhile the Kurds are at maximum production and selling it to anybody and everybody. So they're losing $1 billion a month in lost oil sales by keeping the pipeline shut, having to pay $693 million in salaries, and are being fined $800k a day by not using the pipe. That's $1.7 billion a month or over $20 billion a year, talk about painting yourself into a corner. Absolutely brilliant, what a strategy, the whole world must be laughing at them. No wonder they've asked for an emergency meeting, they've made themselves look ridiculous. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. | habshan
08/6/2024 03:45 | The ICG made a serious miscalculation in this whole pipeline issue and now has had to increase its overall budget by around $10 -15 a billion a year to compensate. It thought it could crush the Kurds once and for all and bring Kurdish Oil Companies to heel and has failed on both counts. Which is why I am more confident this time that a solution is possible. IMO | highlander7
08/6/2024 03:28 | john@john78846295: 11h Previous known short Qube Research & Technologies creeps back above 0.5%. Most likely due to them hovering below declarable level at 0.49%, and with share buy back programme reducing overall number of shares, pushing them back to declarable level. | highlander7
08/6/2024 01:35 | Didn't think of that, thanks C_G. | ptmorris1 |
