Iraq has tested the Kirkuk-Turkey oil pipeline

"The Iraqi Oil Ministry has conducted the first test of the pipeline that is scheduled to transport oil from Kirkuk province to the Turkish World Port.

A source in the Iraqi Oil Ministry told Rudaw that Iraq conducted the first test of the pipeline this week, through the three compression stations on the pipeline.

One of the pipeline's three stations is in Kirkuk and the other two are in Beji and Mosul.

"The second test is scheduled to be conducted soon using gas," the source said.

The pipeline, which is now 100% repaired, was without problems in the first test, and is scheduled to be fully tested and finally inspected in the second phase before exporting oil.

The source said that a meeting was held at the ministry this week to discuss the export of Kirkuk oil to Turkey.

The Iraqi Oil Ministry has been repairing the Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline, which transports Kirkuk oil to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, for more than three months, Rudaw reported.

The pipeline stopped in 2014 after the ISIS attack on Mosul, especially after problems and holes were created in the pipeline.

The Kirkuk-Jahan oil pipeline, consisting of two 40-inch and 46-inch pipelines, was opened in 1977 and 1978 respectively.

The pipeline will be about 970 kilometers long, most of which will be about 660 kilometers in Turkey, about 310 kilometers in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

The pipeline will transport oil from some of the Kirkuk fields to Nineveh province, from there to Duhok province, then to the Turkish World Port and from there to world markets.

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has suspended oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan since March 25, 2023, following a decision of the International Arbitration Board in Paris on a complaint filed by Iraq against Turkey.

In addition to the oil from the Kurdistan Region, the Kurdistan oil pipeline also transported some of the oil from the Kirkuk fields, but after the decision of the Paris arbitration club, its exports were suspended like Kurdistan oil."

So your numbers are miles out that's why I say gkp is only worth £2 max on a fire sale .
