Of course, as Punter put it - this could all just be horsetrading. Bluff and bluster!

If it was so easy to open this second pipeline, why haven't they done so already????

Absence of further 2024 awards = a deal has been agreed as at FY 2023 audit, no more dilutive options can subsequently be issued.
Hence it's clear you have sold up

True. And if Iraq get the promised missile defence systems from the US then it's a win win.

shortsqueezer - Yes that's why I think it is very positive if crude flows in that alternative pipe as it indicates some sort of co-operation in exports.

Until it gets bombed that is :-)

Meanwhile one of the pumping stations and the latter part of the pipe is in Kurdish territory. That will be interesting

Hmmm, sell oil at 90 bucks via the pipeline at 25?

Numskulls.

Again true, legitimacy, regular payments, higher profit (and inc is SP) may still better the current stalemate which we have had for the last year... It is just we are probably taking a haircut on renegotiating terms...

Also if APIKUR are exporting through Kikuk-Ceyhan it would legitimise our position.
We can't go back to how it was before as in the end we were not being paid by the KRG and all the debt/salaries/budget issue with ICG would just start again.

hangthedj: definate possibility, the oil has to come from somewhere. We will have to renogtiate the contracts though on their terms... like I said, better than selling locally @ $25

Auth Share cap 292m
Issued 222m
Fully diluted ( existing unvested options o/s) 230m
Worst case + someone prob MNR get issued rest as a sweetener in sale.
292m each $1bn paid = £ 2.70/sh
Amazed BOD recommend < $5bn
So £ 13.50 min could easily be a lot more.

mmt1 - my thinking is the federal government will want to fill the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipe if they've went to bother of repairing it, setting up pumping station and storage facility. large capacity pipe and that's a lot of crude being diverted from area.
You would think they'd need APIKUR IOC's to either help fill pipe and/or it helps big time with supply and demand locally leading to increase local sales price.

Just my thoughts, probably totally wrong as usual.
