06/4/2024 18:29 | I wonder if the FDP covers Greater Shaikan??? as it's non appearance coincides with the sudden issue of the pipeline and the year with no exports. We summised before all this jiggery pokery that GKP would not be managing the massive expansion at Shaikan nevermind GS, as they were paying large Divis out instead of conserving cash for the FDP. Will it be a merger of Shaikan,Atrush & Sarsang, then a buyout by Major(s) Oil or T/O of each individual Oil Co prior to merging the resources? One thing for sure,if and when exports restart with agreed costs/contracts etc with Baghdad, and if the company is still independent, then GKPs 80% WI at Shaikan will cost the buyer(s) a very large sum indeed. All original shareholders deserve a big pay day ASAP. GLA. | ![]() fairenough11

And in December 2011, interest by Sinopec was reported and Gulf Keystone subsequently went with advisers to China in March 2012." Dow Jones News 13/12/18 - "China Oil Majors Reportedly Eyeing Gulf Keystone's Flagship Kurdistan Asset." "By Philip Waller. Chinese oil majors appear to be casting a fresh eye over Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd.'s (GKP.LN) flagship oil asset in Kurdistan, according to a copy of a report seen by Dow Jones Newswires. Experts from the China National Petroleum Corp. and China National Offshore Oil Corp. (0883.HK) have carried out a technical study of rock formations at Gulf Keystone's Shaikan field in the semi-autonomous region of Iraq, according to a report on the study. Shaikan has been described as a "world-class oil field" with a current production capacity of 40,000 barrels of oil a day, though London-listed Gulf Keystone plans to increase this to 55,000 barrels in the next year or so and eventually to 110,000 barrels. The report, based on a presentation made to an industry conference in Bahrain earlier this year, cites six authors from CNPC and CNOOC or research organizations attached to them. The latter includes the Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration & Development, which is the research-and-develop The report says the carbonate reservoirs in the regional land basin housing Shaikan and about 29 other oil fields are "extremely rich in oil-and-gas resources." A spokesman for Gulf Keystone declined to comment on the study and the Chinese authors didn't respond to an emailed request for comment. The report is the latest indication of wider industry interest in the field, which London-listed Gulf Keystone discovered in 2009. In December 2016, a Bloomberg report said that another Chinese oil major, Sinopec, had approached Gulf Keystone. In July 2014, sector bankers and analysts reportedly said that Sinopec, CNPC and U.S. majors Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) and Chevron Corp. (CVX) had "shown interest" in Gulf Keystone. And in December 2011, interest by Sinopec was reported and Gulf Keystone subsequently went with advisers to China in March 2012. Meanwhile, Gulf Keystone said this week that it received a $21.2 million net monthly payment for oil from the Kurdistan Regional Government in September. 06/4/2024 14:04 | Broadford, I know and I've been posting about the Chinese carrying out the investigations on behalf of various Universities, Seats of learning and other Institutions ever since it occurred, my sources were totally solid. That has always wound up queen lemming sarah hab scam and other delusional idiots here simply because it doesn't match their fantasies and agendas. Its obvious that had the Chinese been impressed with what they found there would have been offers. A deal would have been done notwithstanding all the Politics and problems between Erbil and Baghdad. Brown envelopes may possibly have been "filled to spill". As I've said many times it was all done for educational purposes and all you desperate morons need to do is contact the company for confirmation. But don't use shediak to do it as I proved them to be a total liar over "Pumpgate" which was yet another load of BS you morons got excited about. The list is endless. Do check out when the Chinese carried it out and then look at the history since and the price they could have taken the 58% for as it would have been a pittance. And absolutely nothing has altered on that front. However, I do understand that simply because the Chinese were involved that it adds a certain something to your ability to CON yourselves like history here has proved umpteen times before. The desperation from the gullible suckers here knows no boundaries!!! Always prepared to help you delusional suckers. Broadford Bay5 Apr '24 - 18:45 - 701811 of 701834 0 1 0 "bigdog, the Chinese were given access to the DATA held by GKP; I doubt very much they could learn an awful lot of new facts talking to the OPs Mgr. As you say, it was for educational purposes - done all the time for institutes and universities all over the world who request such up-to-date Real World Data for their students. You never know, perhaps they might find that hidden nugget, that needle in the haystack? If the data had been so worthwhile, with new and positive interpretations thrown up by such modern centres of learning, then why did no company jump at the chance to pluck the apple? Such interpretations carried out by recognized and world-leading companies such as Ryder Scott and ERCE are one thing (and can show wide variance) and even these are well peppered with qualified clauses, but the Chinese opinions or interpretations are another thing entirely. Desperation". | ![]() bigdog5
