Baghdad again disingenuous dragging out dialogues with Erbil to allow it time to repair its own pipeline. Enough to spark terrorism. Just wish the Kurds would leave.

Nothing encouraging from APIKUR yet so we are left with Biden and Turkey.

Anyway the sale will be announced around mid May latest.
Could be sooner if they use a SGM, think that is more likely , instead of the June AGM.
AGM might be needed as well to tidy up what must be huge admin malarkeys.

I am not sure how/if opening this second pipeline would help our position? If anything it would weaken it as GoI/SOMO would just say $6 base and that is it if you want a contract with us... Still better profit than local sales @$25 - but still

Maybe that makes more sense about where the $6 per barrel figure being bandied about is attributable to.

Other Pipeline - personally I'd be very pleased to see crude oil flowing in this alternative pipeline and exported from Cehyan even if it isn't APIKUR oil. As far as I know there's only 1 pipeline from FK on the Northern border to Ceyhan and think if the alternative pipe from Kirkuk to FK is in use it may be the initial step for KRG exports in the future.
