I see that Carroll continues with her 10 year campaign of total BS trying to convince all here about another imminent takeover. And how has she done in all the years she's been posting that BS, £4.60 down to 1p!!!

If the latest announcement from Iraq is to be believed there doesn't appear to have been any progress made contrary to what the Kurds have been pumping out imo.

Ceteris Paribus he is right but his comment is based on certain assumptions which need to be clarified and put into law by the Iraqi Government.

Good afternoon "investors" how's the fantasy factory doing today, still producing you're theories as if on double time I see.

I believe there is another and extremely important reason why this impasse continues. Baghdad have requested to see all the contracts of the producers, they want to know about the Erbil and Turkey deals, they want to know how many workers actually exist. Doesn't the audit that was posted up by Queen lemming sarah "suggest" that is not the way to run ones accounts? Doesn't that lead to iffy shenanigans?

Various people from both sides have said on many occasions all the requested info has been provided, doesn't appear to have been but who knows. Can you not understand why Baghdad are insisting on transparency? So if there is nothing to hide why don't the KRG get on and do it so that Baghdad can offer Epicure a deal?

Is this non transparency something that Epicure are prepared to overlook? Very possibly and perhaps its something that companies have to accept however, its very clear that Baghdad want it sorted to their satisfaction. Aimho of course:-)

Makes no difference.

Under international law the PSCs and the Kurds constitutional right to sign them will be judged against the laws and constitution that were in effect at the time of their signing.

And that means that the PSCs are legal and valid until they expire in 2043 or whatever it is.

The basic problem is that The Constitution and the whole concept of Federalism was essentially forced down Iraq's throat - by the USA and coalition partners.
It was never fully accepted by Iraq and the various component parts have never been fully integrated into Iraq governmental structures.

The slow "unpicking" of that Western-formulated constitution is now in full swing; how far it may progress and what form its replacement may take remains to be seen.

The Huffing and the Puffing is not confined solely to Iraq.
