Nest, although the Iranian leaders are not nice people, they were never a threat to the world. That threat comes from our chums in Tel Aviv. HAMAS was invented by Israel to take out Yasser Arafat's PLO and have been the trojan horse in Gaza ever since. Bibi blames Iran for starting the conflict 3 weeks ago and cried for assistance. None came from the US, because there was NO SPEAKER for two and a half weeks! Assistance would have started WW3 with Russia and China. It's game over for Israel.
The world has had a lucky escape!

CEO's words last week.

And he is right in spades.

Debt free , 82m++ cash, FCF even on local sales $6-10m/month,

200m+ 2p reserves,$ 750m of production infrastructure paid for.

On export resumption ,PSC legitimised , and M+A inevitable.

Nésto, some interesting posts. re the long landing strip in kurdistan built in 2010. It's all about strategic control of the middle east and possibly for plans against iran.

This video shows why
#ArmitaGaravand, Iranian schoolgirl got beaten by hijab police & killed.
Cameras are everywhere to identify & arrest unveiled women. But see how bravely she was walking unveiled to show her resistance to forced hijab.
She’s a hero.

Teachers in Sulaimani staged one of the largest protests in years against the KRG Minister of Education's decision to break the boycott. They are demanding their salaries for August, September, and October, as the KRG has not yet paid civil servants for these months.

While the three provinces of the Kurdistan Region constitute 10% of the area, 18% of the population, and 32% of the border gates of Iraq, in the first half of 2023, the KRG's non-oil revenues equaled 81% of that of the other 15 provinces combined, according to KRG and Iraqi figures.

Details: The 15 Iraqi provinces generated a total non-oil revenue of 2 trillion and 563 billion dinars. In contrast, the non-oil revenue for the three provinces of the Kurdistan Region reached 2 trillion and 74 billion dinars. This means the Kurdistan Region's non-oil revenue was equivalent to 81% of the combined revenue of the other 15 Iraqi provinces.

- Income tax revenue in the 15 Iraqi provinces amounted to 782 billion and 372 million dinars. In contrast, the three provinces of the Kurdistan Region generated 290 billion and 721 million dinars, constituting 37% of the revenue collected from the 15 Iraqi provinces.
- Revenue from "goods tax and investment fees" in the 15 Iraqi provinces was 422 billion and 515 million dinars. Meanwhile, the three provinces of the Kurdistan Region brought in 561 billion and 446 million dinars, surpassing the former by 133%.
- "Stamp" revenue in the 15 Iraqi provinces totaled 610 billion and 580 million dinars. In the three provinces of the Kurdistan Region, it was 261 billion and 551 million dinars, representing 43% of the revenue of the other 15 Iraqi provinces.

I cant see the USA being too happy with SINOPEC spying on their installations either.

We would probably get a better offer from the Chinese and Kurdistan currently has too much risk for the likes of XOM. That perception may change with the HCL.

Anything could happen

Muqtada al-Sadr and Maliki both pro Iranian are out of influence ATM . Iraqi's on the street I think are in sympathy for the Iranian protestors . USAs massive consulate in Erbil and the biggest runway in the ME near Erbil which was built in 2010 tells me it's not the Chinese BWTFDIK.

H7 was wondering how you think Iran needs to give approval.

Iranians have a serious influence in the ICG Government. This increases with SOMO now managing Kurdish Oil. They could quite easily make life difficult for the KRG in the future just as they have in the past , especially if they thought a large US INOC was thinking about entering Kurdistan. Hopefully the HCL when agreed should mitigate this.

Which is why I think the Chinese are more likely.

As you say any offer has to be recommended by the BOD and Kurds.
