Thanks, thought I read that somewhere.

Question remains as to why can't the non APIKUR IOC's start exporting.
Suggests to me that non of the Kurdistan oil producers are willing to proceed until contracts and payments sorted. Seems strange not wanting to be associated with APIKUR for whatever reason.

Wonder why the non APIKUR IOC's are not being persuaded to export their production if SOMO and Turkey are ready to proceed?

They are holding us under water for as long as poss, Black Rock will pick up any sells, no one cares about us PIs.

ICG are Hamas supporting while the KRG wouldn't allow a demo on behalf of Hamas .KRI has always been all religions tolerant and they were selling crude to Israel. Whether any of this matters I have no idea.

I reckon that if they see PIs losing faith and selling then they will hang on longer for HCL and M&A.

From RNS 25th Sept.
" Following recent agreements with buyers, GKP has ceased trucking operations and is injecting all crude sales into the pipeline for transportation to a local refinery in Kurdistan. The Company is receiving advance payments into its UK bank account for its net entitlement of 36% of gross sales revenue.

Current local sales volumes and realised prices enable GKP to more than cover its estimated monthly costs of around USD6 million in H2 2023, while strengthening its financial position. The Company remains focused on preserving liquidity and continues to explore opportunities for further cost reductions.

Gross average sales are currently c.33,000 bopd and GKP is striving to increase sales volumes while prudently managing the start-up of wells that have been shut-in for several months and avoid traces of water. "

As a progression from c. 33,000 bopd on 25th Sept, I would estimate production of around 40,000 bopd by 25th Oct.
At c. $30 per barrel with GKP taking close to $11 of that, GKP are in a good position.

40,000 bopd for 30 days at $11 per barrel gives $13,200,000 to GKP per month.
With monthly costs of c. $6,000,000, that is a healthy situation for GKP.

GKP are solid .......

......but can't say the same for KRG / ICG.

Performance has turned around sharply over the past three years, however, with its 230.1% return the best in the peer group and dwarfing the 14.8% average delivered by most IA Global portfolios.
