A leveraged recapitalisation followed by buybacks would have been both a concentration and defence(drive price higher)The company however finally clarified that the bond repayment was what they regarded as 'optimisation of capital structure '.Now that can only be the case if they are not planning to remain independent, as relying on equity finance solely = very expensive cost of capital.....So it is now crystal clear that not only are they sold, but it's a friendly agreed deal , and the appt of a Bermuda based NED whose only relevant attributes are her experience in amalgamation of Bermuda cos oversight of regulatory compliance.

OPEC+ meeting today, should mean oil prices rising up again Thursday and Friday.

They cannot even meet their current quota's so any raising of the quotas means nothing, only they will miss any new quotas by a larger margin..... LOL :)

Lots of posters maybe one of two real people's banging on about leveraged recap..taking on debt to buy shares before the T/O. For last 3-4 years.Now seemlesly switch to story of paying down debt as preliminary to T/O.LOL!

Just written to Aaran at GKP IR, suggesting a monhtly dividend now that they are debt free.

Its a very different & attractive GKP today, totally debt free & a huge cash cow 💰🐄

Well done all PIs who have remained here to the very end for the final takeover share price which now looks very close indeed.

It may be a good thing for GKP to adopt the same as I3E......and that is paying a regular monthly dividend.

I3E is very good in that respect and I like the monthly cash coming in. Currently 2 million I3E shares give you 2800 pounds per month dividend income.

Just had their latest divi news today.



Now that GKP is debt free......why not lets be having a regular monthly divi.
