Directors decide nothing.MAJORITY OWNERS will have decided what is acceptable and have obviously agreed sale, otherwise they wouldn't have voted through the buyback solely to VEST options.? Price will be whatever they have agreed. Imo worst case £20, best £150 or +Soon find out

Urals. If they've sold it on that micky mouse reserves figure of 660m they'll get sued (imo) by the big instis who have held and accumulated these last 3 years. I also doubt CNPC will pay top dollar on what they found during their dd but a figure the instis will accept has to be more than what's in the public domain. Otherwise, what's the point of the troll-fest.

Sale RNS in obviously only days away let's address price:660m 2p2c let's say 550m 2p minm equivalent.At paltry $5 /boe = £ 7.20,at prudent $10/boe = £14.40,at realistic recent average metric $15/boe = £21.60. At recent Occidental twice that £43.Of course all without any equity concentration from very obvious off mkt buyback incoming......So very prudently £20,realistically £45, competitively £80+

Funny you should mention that, welshki. I did notice a certain shrillness creeping into old Muttley's comments today, and it was probably caused by the relentless tick-up in the share price since it hit 200p. Perhaps the end is in sight? :):)

GKPHERO: 2 ways this behemoth of a deal being done by Ashurst LLP1 Sale is effected by a scheme of arrangement tomorrow or Friday to be done by Dec 2.2 If by takeover offer process announcement any day pre 30 Nov.I just hope Clifford Chance acting for buyers , it would be a happy symmetry
