07/11/2019 17:09 | No worries Urals, I'll underpomise and over deliver !!rgds the forum it's awash with fraudsters! As you'd expect pre sale. Thanks Chinese, its very hard to navigate this forum with so many filtered!BTW I think your pricing model uber cautious as the 2C 190m is effectively 2P on new FDP sign off. I think even your rock bottom outcome would then be £10+:::Urals my model more cautious, if no buybackUse 470m 2p at $5 /boe = £ 7.50 rock bottomMy best case at $30/boe with 100% buyback =£ 85, then add 2C goes over double figures:: | chinese_takeaway
07/11/2019 17:04 | You are probably correct bigdog - puff it hard, then throttle it back without mentioning it. Depending on what info is released (i.e. how detailed) it could well be that energy levels are decreasing so much throughout the W side of the block that the "traditional" 5Mbopd well is no longer the norm at SH; hence the requirement for ESPs. Have a look at the the pressure depletion graphs included with the 2018 Full Year Results - and take account of the bubble point issues I mentioned some time back; suck too hard and you'll get wind. Using an ESP, however, to get the number back up to 5Mbopd or whatever, might well be sucking too hard - and might lead to Robbing Peter to Pay Paul or, even worse, sucking up stuff that you don't want. If that is the case then there may be only one way to overcome this and keep output high and growing: drill more wells and don't suck too hard; keep the ESPs nicely set at a lower Mbopd production level. We might indeed be forced back to the original FDP scenario which envisaged a far greater number of wells than is now currently said to be the case; the financial implications need no emphasising from me. It would be prudent to keep the coffers filled instead of giving it away. If #12 turns out to be a relatively poor producer, then there will be an awful lot riding on #9 - as the 55 target will be endangered. Events might even force it's use as a producer...which would put the Gas Disposal issue right back at the top of the To-Do list... The current share price tick-up indicates a leaky ship, again. As the eventual news is digested we'll have to see how long the positive thinking lasts. Maybe Malcy will help us out again! | broadford bay

07/11/2019 16:22 | Shame about S12 as I know you were all banking on it being great and propelling you towards 55k a day. But don't worry because allegedly what usually happens are the wells get ramped up for a very short time so they can announce far better production numbers. Then they get choked back soon after so as not to suck up the real nasty stuff. That's the problem with ESP's as you ought to realise. Need them pumps because of pressure issues but they can suck too hard and cause even more problems. But it keeps all the suckers happy and optimistic innit:-) | bigdog5

07/11/2019 12:36 | I never used the term "wild accusation", Muttley. I said "wild speculation dressed up as fact". Bit different, innit? But then accuracy doesn't seem to be your strong point, does it? Meantime the share price grinds ever upwards. :):) | pensioner2

07/11/2019 12:03 | Sale RNS obviously only days away let's address price:660m 2p2c let's say to be very prudent 550m 2p minm equivalent.At paltry $5 /boe = £ 7.20,at prudent $10/boe = £14.40,at realistic recent average metric $15/boe = £21.60. At recent Occidental twice that £43.Of course all without any equity concentration from major off mkt buyback incoming.So £20,realistically £45, competitively £80+ | urals
