Cetaceous is worthless as its thicker than Gkpzero.
Jurassic has production and gas issues.
Too risky and expensive to try for the Triassic and they have no clue what's there.
Permian, LOFL. The Triassic eats drills and the Permian is even more pressurised.

FDP kicked out by MNR because of the gas problem.
New CPR no point as it looks like it would be much lower than the existing.
Solving the Gas problems will be risky, costly and time consuming.
Where's the pipeline that was supposed to be operational in June.
Production falling.
Heavy oil to lose value. Diesel on the way out. Tankers required to go greener.
CFO on his bike, we wonder why.
Only announce the good stuff and even that's by twitter.

Hundred's of $billions are needed to sort it all out. So why would anyone buy it?
Why would the hosts allow anyone to buy it? It works well for them.
None of the Kozel numbers can be trusted.
Do the Insti's really know what's caused all the delays or are they just playing the Oil price. Aimvho and all free. But you know how correct I've always been :-)

But it looks like the trough is doing just fine:-)

BB - either Shaikan is indeed truely massive, and a political pawn (or even King), or our Management are totally out of their depth in attempting to convert ready cash into increased production.Hmmmm - could be a third scenario: JF is terrified of taking on the MNR tribals.Something has to give (or go).

There appear to be both "Strong" and "Weak" companies operating in KStan.

Take the Gas / Condensate guys who took the MNR to court - and won.
Look at DNO - steaming ahead, funded their own pipeline (to FK) AND negotiated an improvement to their PSC WI%.
Look at TAQA/Atrush - steaming ahead, no gripes, just bumping up output.

...then there's GKP.

Wouldn't cost the KRG much to take a controlling interest. Easily be able to pay off a bond or loan from increased revenue gained from the companies who are managing to increase their production.

President Nechirvan Barzani met with a delegation from the United States Congress led by Congressman Adam Smith. They discussed the latest developments and demonstrations in Iraq, the future prospects of the political process and the security situation in Iraq.
President Nechirvan Barzani expressed his appreciation to the United States for supporting the Kurdistan Region and Iraq in the fight against ISIS terrorism. He reiterated that the Kurdistan Region attaches great importance to its relations with the U.S. Congress. They also discussed the progress of discussions between Erbil and Baghdad and efforts to solve outstanding issues under the framework of Iraq’s Constitution. The current political situation in the disputed areas, confronting the dangers of ISIS resurgence and the United States role and assistance in this regard was also discussed.
President Barzani highlighted coexistence and harmony among all religious and ethnic groups in the Kurdistan Region. He also highlighted the reforms in the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs and thanked the United States and other countries within the International Coalition for helping the Kurdistan region in this field.
Both sides also exchanged views on the developments in Syria, the refugees and their influx to the Kurdistan Region and the importance of security and stability in the wider region.
The meeting was also attended by the Vice Presidents of the Kurdistan Region and the United States Ambassador to Iraq.
