It would seem that certain people within the company are upset that I do my predictions just before results days.

GKPHero target £150:::: :) £25-50 prudently on $12-25/boe (660m2p+2c), however it really depends hugely on how many shares they have bought back in. TBA. if more than 100m shares then 3 figures is not completely out of the question.

I doubt the hosts would permit the company to take out Genel or DNO as they've proved successful and know how to progress their business. Possible merger much further down the track?

Has Urals/Chinese found an announcement that states the MNR have handed the company their portion of the asset for free as he believes?

Well 116k generates a 2.1% rise. What will happen if some real volume goes through?

Edit. And a sneaky 65k buy raises that to 2.4%. Looks like Voleon won't update until their buying programme is completed. And about 60% of the day's trades go in after the bell. :):)

They could be in heaps of trouble if a sale was announced over a night. However they could have a long position they are hedging , they could be acting for others who have, they could be active in the other venues this stock is traded.who knows?

Jezus - U R A Little Slow: the buyback shares will NEVER be taken out of circulation - they will be held in the Treasure Trove then dished out to the team as part of their reward for skillfully growing GKP from a basket case into a mushroomingly successful little Kurdistan based oil company.Don't you see the game being manipulated with our working capital here ?Our BoD should be strategically eyeing up Genel or DNO for aquisition (as apparently they haven't a clue how to use our capital internally).Yawn.

Clearly not sold. It won't be, at least anytime soon.
Still no update, are there "issues"?
Another BS theory from the Urals/Chinese gang.
They're still searching for the "missing" 30% that some know exactly where it is.
Oil law? Odd that Erbil won't agree to Somo marketing their oil? Of course not:-)
But there's a dilemma which the "investors" don't get.
It's possible for more buybacks but its a waste of working capital which should be used to progress the business. Was the last effort a success?
The BoD responsible for the wipeout and can't progress the business trough on.
But I'm sure they're grateful for the suckers that support them.

ERBIL - The leadership of the Kurdistan Region has reiterated its stance on a possible amendment to the Iraqi Constitution, saying that the rights of the people of the autonomous region must be preserved.

President Nechirvan Barzani, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and Parliament Speaker Rewaz Fayiq met with several other senior officials from the three presidencies in Erbil on Tuesday to discuss the recent tensions in Iraq.

During the meeting, officials made it clear that the constitutional rights of the people of Kurdistan Region should not be reduced in any articles or sections of the Iraqi Constitution in case of an amendment to it, according to the information BasNews has learned.

After the meeting, the three presidencies also met with the leaders of all Kurdish political parties, where Iraqi President Barham Salih was also present.

As protests have been ongoing in the capital Baghdad and several other cities against the government, there are attempts to amend the Iraqi Constitution, with the Kurdistan Region expressing concerns over its rights in this regard.

Yes . Without knowing if the buyers have a toehold stake from the anonymous 30% impossible to tell if scheme or by offer.Scheme needs 75% approval and 21 days minm notice, offer needs 90% longer to become effective.still think scheme more likely.Ophir Energy recent sale a good example.

Agree Chinese, as a public company experience in capital mkts etc necessary for CFO. This has just been a turnround project, that's clearly finished. Sami on his way now turnround and sale done, on v good leaver terms keeping his vcp awards that will shortly vest on sale announcement.If by scheme its announced this week to be effective by Dec 2 Sami departure, If by agreed offer anytime up to then.
