Genel market buyback comparison:They have higher shares in issue, about 20% more, and have started with $10m to begin which makes GKP impending open market buyback to be much more aggressive as they shortly begin with $25m, and will buy potentially more than Genel10% having authority for 12.7%,29m near enough. With such a huge excess of cash a larger E for D swap or ASR makes commercial sense, so would that occur before or after the open market buyback?Genel up 9% in 4 days since they started, and only through less than $1.5m , so when GKP do start so aggressively should very positive.Next week or two should be telling.

Why is Janet Jackson on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonberry?

She cannot sing.

Someone far more worthy should have been given the opportunity.

Shame. Deep shame.

HabscamScot,

I've just lit the barbecue on the back of the boat and you are free to join me for a steak and a glass of champagne or a beer if you want ???

I can show you my model of SH and why the field is behaving like it is and why they are making the mistakes they are.

If you apologise for all those nasty lies you tell about me I'll even let you look at GoatCam 🐐🎥®

I don't see where the shares are going to come from . After the restructure GKP said there would be no more shares issued .Suppose they might change their minds?

Agree Urals , the GKP buyback is far more aggressive than Genel's and that in itself has been very effective.lets see what happens when it starts ,which was "shortly" a week ago so probably this week.++++++++++++++++++++++++Genel open market buyback comparison. They have higher shares in issue, about 20% more, and have started with $10m to begin.GKP appear to be much more aggressive as they shortly begin with $25m, presumably within a few days. With such a huge excess of cash a larger E for D swap or ASR makes commercial sense, so would that occur before or after the open market buyback?Genel up 9% in 4 days since they started, and only through less than $1.5m , so when GKP do start so aggressively should very positive.Next week or two should be telling.

What could be in the Chinese takeaway's BS bag to get you all lathered up next?

Meanwhile production struggles to get back to where it was three years ago.

All the hyped plans haven't worked so desperate times call for desperate measures, bring on plan B and C eh, go for dividends and buybacks, lol. Last roll of the dice?

So no buyback of 33/50% of the company, wow we are surprised. Will that now be excluded from the daily Chinese menu? Along with all the other BS dishes of "imminent takeaways" that's been a special for 5 years?

But what is this, a new item has appeared on his menu "the tap" whereby borrowed money is used to buyback shares. So increase debt to cancel their own shares LOFL. Oh the irony. Got to try and keep the Insti's on board this engineless and leaking ship.

Poor old habby and that slurryidiot, they don't have a clue about the reality of the situation but it's so funny watching them stumble around trying to make sense of what they think is happening. I'll remind them again that the guy that owns the goatcam gets almost all absolutely spot on.

Looks like there's pressure, gas and well issues to me. 55k a day lofl.

Just a mull:-)

Hi Jamie,

SH 4 is a different animal all on its own.

I did touch on this last year but then it wasn't relevant to some on here.

I forgot about the sun coming off the water and I'm now a tingling shade of pink 😂

HabscamScot,

It's not me that doesn't understand it's you !

Why do you think they had to drill SH H first ???

A problem you obviously know nothing about.

There are other problems on that side of the field you also obviously know nothing about.

Why do you think they ordered the wrong spec pumps ???

Something I mentioned last year.

You keep telling me to leave it to the experts lol.

MOL are so confident with GKP that they now have their own staff members working there. 😱

I suggest you go back and read the post you wrote this morning on LSE and have a think.

I would also ask you to back up ANY OF YOUR STATEMENTS with facts ???

I won't get into the GAS,WATER or DRILLING Fluid problems just yet.

Good morning mac,

out on the boat today?
Lucky man!

Re the ongoing spat about PF-1 output etc., obviously no-one paid much attention to the Well (Pressure) Depletion curves that were presented at the Capital Markets Event of 28th Mar-2019.

Page 51 tells quite a story.
SH-4 appears to be almost out of puff.

Switch off the engine, break open a nice cold bottle and just let her run under the jib.

You clearly STILL don't understand do you Oilman.

It's been explained to you many times that any oilfield that has not received any subsurface maintenance will go into decline, and as with any other oilfield that has not been maintained, output from the Shaikan wells has decreased.

Everybody else understands that Oilman.

It's why oil companies embark on programmes to arrest the decline and return the wells and facilities to health as we have had happen at wells 1&2 which are now producing some 14kbpd between them.

The wells that flow into PF2 are nos. 2,5,10&11, and we know that all wells are currently producing without any artificial lift.

So as part of the programme, wells 5,10&11 have been earmarked for workovers and ESPs to restore them to rude health.

It's also the case that the Gas Re-Injection programme which will start soon will increase drive by adding pressure from the gas cap.

All of this is the sort of thing that Managers, Geologists, Petrophysicists, Reservoir Engineers, and highly qualified boffins like Mike Parsley are there to deal with.

It's their job Oilman. It's what they do.

It's why we have Universities where people go to study, and read books, and use research tools such as Google and Wikipedia and become qualified in this stuff.

Not that you'd know anything about that.

Leave it to the experts Oilman, if there are any problems they will solve it or work round it.

You working yourself up into a lather about it won't make any difference.
