The company has updated its byelaws post AGMSo the in open market up to 29.2m buyback for Treasury or retirement is effective as 21 June. (i) (ii) allows for them to buyback on any basis. This would allow ASR, or equity for debt swap on any terms the Board want, without further reference to shareholders. All the Institutional holders voted for it so no doubt they understand what is potentially forthcoming. The Board may, at its discretion and without the sanction of a Resolution (i) authorise the purchase by the Company of its own shares for cancellation or acquire them as Treasury Shares in accordance with the Companies Acts on such terms as the Board shall think fit and (ii) exercise all the powers of the Company to purchase or acquire all or any part of its own shares in accordance with the Companies Acts.

Chinese, the company is far too deleveraged. So I suggested yesterday a significant buyback could have been done by accelerated share repurchase ASR. This is a further possibility :an equity/debt swap, all "specified" shareholders are given the right to exchange their stock for a predetermined amount of debt in the same company. With former noteholders holding equity and a further 200m already available in unused notes , then that might be a route. The12.7% buyback is certainly not enough, in my view

Correct Urals , every PLC quotes div/share £p/ord share Most Unconventional of dividend declarations !! Why can they not specify a div per Ord share as EVERY plc does?Given the huge excess cash to operational need this or something close to it must be the case "Company because it can't specify dividends notably the 2/3 portion in terms of cents/ordinary share,(CONVENTIONALLY ) is telling investors that there will be a significant CHANGE in the number of shares in issue before any second payment.Until that's announced its impossible to quote cents/share. And so their should be?! No other E and P is so deleveraged. A major buyback of 25/33% using the tap headroom of $200m they have in reserve over and above the 305 m of cash, and 50m booked receivables ."

It would seem that again the Chinese takeaway BS err has been proved as a fantasist and fraud with his buyback predictions. But the equally cerebrally challenged pensioner and johnyboy were on point to spur him on. You lot never learn, lol

US to Sanctions Any Countries that Import Iranian Oil: Envoy

US to Sanctions Any Countries that Import Iranian Oil: Envoy

Tagged under en
ERBIL - Washington will sanction any countries that would buy oil from Iran, US Special Envoy for Iran Brian Hook said on Friday, adding that no exceptions are now in place.

"We will sanction any imports of Iranian crude oil… There are right now no oil waivers in place," Hook told reporters in London, as quoted by RT.

The US had previously granted waivers to certain countries, allowing them to continue importing Iranian oil for a particular period of time.

The US envoy explicitly referred to reports that China, which is the largest buyer of Iranian oil, has received at least one shipment after its sanctions waiver was revoked, saying that "we will sanction any illicit purchases of Iranian crude oil."

After Tehran shot down a US drone, the US Imposed new sanctions on Iran on Monday, threatening that it would enforce penalties on any sides who don't follow the restrictions.

HabscamScot,

So what you are saying is that you haven't a clue not a damn clue.

You had best leave it to the experts lol.

By the way I do actually know the answers and YOU won't like them.

I do discuss these FACTS with people that matter.

I like the new look LSE. Far more streamlined and user friendly. Better then when 3 lies went to 2 lies. I suspect Mikey still posting level 2 updates, but I never bother looking.

Habscamscot,

So what seems to be clear is that you can't answer the question can you.

Why are all the wells connected to PF2 (SH2,5,8,10,11) only capable of producing 13k between them ???

Oilman.

What you need to understand is that NOBODY, neither myself, other users of these boards, the geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, management or anybody else could give a toss about what a bone head on an ananonymous blog who expects other people to come up with answers to his questions because he doesn't have the intellect, education or interest in doing it himself, knows or doesn't know.

You don't need to know how it all works Oilman. You're of no relevance.

If you did know the answers what difference would it make to the progress, direction or outcome.

Absolutely none whatsoever.

Why on earth would anybody care.

The management, geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers and the rest of them are developing the field to 55, 75 and 110kbpd and the fact that you don't have answers to your questions is not something that they, like me are remotely interested in.

The camel train marches on Oilman, keep out of their way before you get squashed.

HabscamScot,

Thanks for the very very long post that at no time answered my question.

Now if it's possible for you to speak without the attack could you possibly answer the question put to you today that you seem to want to avoid or cover up ???

I can't go back and check the 5000+ LSE posts because they were all removed.

Why was that ???

Doesn't that habby waffle on. They seem ever so stressed and sound like that Guru that used to be here telling all that their arguments were "flawed" when in fact they've been proved to be spot on.

ShaiCON is going into a natural decline?

Is that why they expect to be producing for 60 years because it will just be a few barrels a day?
