BUY FOR ISA RECOMMENDED:Gulf Keystone (GKP): 175pThis one is relatively easy to sum up – currently producing a whopping 43,190 bopd from their Shaikan field in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq and aiming to increase to 55,000 bopd by Q1 2022 beginning with the drilling of the SH-13 well in Q3 of 2021, GKP are valued at £369m and are sitting on a cash pile of $161mWith one of the lowest Opex around at $2.6/bbl, GKP are heavily leveraged to oil prices and with record production levels for 2021 must be loving these current oil prices – recently being described as a 'cash machine' by a well-known investment analyst. Also, with the resumption of regular payments to GKP from the Kurdish Regional Government ("KRG") for the last eleven months and the demise of ISIS political risk has diminished considerably. Repayment mechanisms are in place to recover outstanding arrears of $73.3 million too.?Confident enough to re-instate its annual dividend beginning with $25m this year and stating that with 'continuing strong oil prices, there may be opportunities to consider further distributions to shareholders this year". Growing production, growing cash, dividends back in place (possibility to grow), lowering costs, strong oil prices. Buy for growth and dividend. Risks have shifted from political to the oil price.

I see the children's takeover party has erupted into chaos and group hugs and all screaming someone's taken the prize and there is a nasty man saying hurtful things. Best advice is wake up and grow up, the balloons popped a long time ago and i have been eating your cake for the last year and it's filling me up nicely.................. Back in the real world the company is in a stable place, the recent budget agreement is a positive as long as it holds, the oil price is certainly been the main driver for the share price rally, unfortunately for GKP the progress to 55k bopd is still a long way off, so all things considered the price will bounce around today's level up to maybe £2,50 ish, of course any further positive news may have a impact, the divi might add a little more, but a favourable FDP for Gulf would be better depending on direction and timescale/capex..............so in a nutshell, more patience required, anyway I'll let you get back to stamping your feet, banging the imaginary drums and consoling each other from that nasty man. lol

KRG Ready to Deliver Its Obligations Under 2021 Federal Budget Law: PM Barzani
Basnews English 2021/04/07 - 14:00 BASNEWS.com-English
PM Masrour Barzani (K24).
PM Masrour Barzani (K24).

ERBIL — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is ready to deliver its obligations under the 2021 Federal Budget Law, and it expects the Federal Government of Iraq to do so as well, said Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.

During a press conference on Wednesday, PM Barzani discussed the latest developments in the region, as well as the relations with Baghdad and the continuous threat of terrorism in Iraq.

On the recently passed Budget Law of Iraq, the Kurdish leader said it was an achievement for the people of Iraq and Kurdistan Region after the sides managed to overcome multiple obstacles.

“This budget was an accommodation — it doesn’t address all the hopes of either party. Our principal win is the continued protection and reinforcement of our constitutional rights,” PM Barzani pointed out, thanking those who helped the passage of the law to secure the financial entitlements of the people of Kurdistan.

He noted that the KRG is now working to draft a new KRG Budget Bill and send it to the parliament of Kurdistan.

On the worsening COVID-19 situation, the Kurdish premier said the vaccination continues, and the KRG is sparing no efforts to curb the spread, but the people should abide by the protective instructions to help the authorities contain the outbreak.

“Vaccines are being administered to our citizens now, and more are on the way. This is a major step forwards. We are intensifying the efforts to curb the rising infection rate which is of serious concern,” PM Barzani said. “But the best way to beat this virus is to abide by our public health measures. The most important thing people can do is follow the guidelines to protect themselves. I ask you personally to wear masks to protect all our citizens.”

Asked about the ongoing Strategic Dialogue between the United States and Iraq, PM Barzani said the KRG is part of the talks, and that the outcome could be decisive for Iraq and the region.

“The KRG is part of the US-Iraq Strategic Dialogue this week. This is important… We believe that Iraq still faces serious terror threats, including from ISIS, and that the country still needs coalition’s support.”

PM Barzani also marked the 30th anniversary of the major Kurdish exodus which made the international community react by adapting the UNSC Resolution 688 and the creation of a no-fly zone in the Kurdistan Region to protect the people from the Baath regime. He thanked the international community and the United Nations, and said their assistance is still needed in Iraq and the wider region.

Concerning the reform plan of the KRG, PM Barzani said significant progress has been made with regards to administrational and financial reforms, and that his cabinet is committed to implement its agenda fully and bring about drastic reforms.

Go on the Berenberg website you have to be registered to get access to their Research and pay for it. Which rules out these muppets on LSE.

Bidding war , would be nice I don't it as the anti hostile measures in place were to protect a friendly mutually desired deal.Happy to be wrong though Hi Highlander. What’s the bet Xom have had been after us for 7/8 years since the news article was published in the Sunday times (£8) offer. When we were producing no oil, no huge pipeline taking our oil away, no budget payment from Baghdad.Bidding war would be nice. 😂
