Al-Fath: We will collect signatures to question the bank’s governor and remove him if he refuses to reduce the dollar’s price 6546-696x435
15:46 - 04/04/20210

Information / Special ...

On Sunday, the Al-Fateh Alliance announced its intention to collect signatures to question the governor of the Central Bank in the coming sessions and force him to reduce the price of the dollar, indicating that if the matter is rejected, we will request his dismissal.

"Even after passing the budget, steps are still effective to pressure the government to bring down the price of the dollar, as it greatly harms the citizen's economy," said Al-Fateh Mukhtar Al-Mousawi, a deputy.

He added that "in the next parliament session, we will move to collect signatures to question the current central bank governor about the decision to raise the dollar exchange rate and the reason for the continued insistence not to reduce it despite the absence of the need for the matter."

He explained that "pressure will be placed on the governor to reduce the price of the dollar by various legal means."

TIMES BUY RECOMMENDATIONTEMPUSCalm restored bodes well for Gulf Keystone investorsWilliam KayThursday April 01 2021, 12.01am, The Times. Jon Harris, Gulf Keystone's chief executive, has dropped a BROAD HINT that there may be more to come. Depending on the oil price and the continuation of Kurdish government payments, a share buyback or special dividends . New wells and the removal of bottlenecks have led to guidance for 2021 of average gross production of 40,000 to 44,000 bpd, with a 55,000 target. With an eye on its ESG responsibilities, the company has employed more Kurds, reduced routine flaring and drilled a water well for farmers.Shares in Gulf Keystone have bounced back from the low of less than 61p touched last April, but at 178½p yesterday (down ½p, or 0.3 per cent) they are still far short of the 675p of five years ago.....ADVICE BUYWHY The high risks could be MORE than matched by the potential REWARDS .

Here's something that I'm curious about Tony.

Why do people buy refurbished spark plugs.

I've just looked on the internet and you can buy new Bosch spark plugs for about £3-4 each.

How much do you charge for an old plug that you've had to spend time procuring and then sit at the kitchen table cleaning and refurbishing.

Because new ones are so cheap I can't see you being able to charge more than a couple of quid each to make it worth anyone's while.

Doesn't sound like much of a way to make a living does it.

OWC found hundreds of metres higher. So for shards read bungalows?

Is habSCUM banging on about 104 fake avatars again as if that gives them some credibility, LOL. The facts are clear for all to see no matter the BS habSCUM "the Excuser" pumps out. The rampers have been making up lies here for years desperately trying to support their agendas and mislead others.

All one has to do is look at the facts, 13 wells drilled in eleven years, just back to 42k a day production, $billions spent and very little progress since the 2016 shareholder wipe out. The result is an share price of 1.7p and that's been totally reliant on the increased oil price.

All is just fine is it? The 55k a day has been coming "easily, fast and cheap" for over five years and that looks like its another 12 months away!!!!!

You poor suckers haven't a clue but you do amuse with the fantasy:-)

"Now why wouldn't they just finish the well before shutting down ??? One more week."
"The drilling crew stayed onsite for sometime after shutdown."

Just like that Tony, sounds easy when you say it quickly doesn't it.

And if you knew how it all worked you'd know that to drill a well you need more than just the drilling crew.

ALL the IOCs had to stop work at the same time in the middle of what they were doing.

When the British Government issued a lockdown order, travel bans, stopped planes from flying in and out of the country and so on did they give people and organisations exemptions who said "not now Boris we're busy".

HKN Energy - "Drilling program halted in March 2020 at safe stage of ST-B3 well."

GKP - "In an attempt to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Kurdistan Regional Government, in line with many other jurisdictions, has put in place a series of tight controls on the movement of personnel into and around the region. With these controls, along with the increasing global restrictions on movement, it has become difficult to ensure Gulf Keystone has the appropriate drilling personnel and equipment on site in order to continue safe drilling operations. Therefore, with the SH-13 well - the current well in the campaign - at a safe stage, the decision has been taken to suspend drilling activities until conditions improve to ensure safe operations."

Shamaran - "ShaMaran took swift action to mitigate any potential impact from the Covid-19 pandemic to production operations. We have been following all recommended guidelines and implementing them as necessary, including travel bans, containment measures, and compliance with other local health requirements.
The KRG has implemented an extended curfew on the major cities including Erbil and a mandatory quarantine on travellers from Europe.

Genel - "the halt in the drilling programme at Tawke, appropriate to the external environment."

You seriously need to get a grip Tony, you've got a memory like a gnat.
