Well Easter is over and I'm shocked, really shocked there is no takeover. The bank is chasing me as to why it hasn't happened and it's a bank holiday too. I even see some suggesting it's already happened looool. No doubt they will setup another carrot and future takeover date and pump it to high heaven but we all know it's just nonsense. I'll keep counting - now 465days since that takeover was imminent

Just thought I would pop in to point out that Paul the Stockport bore's multi avatars have failed yet again with their fictitious takeaway garbage. Its been proved that he's a Walter Mitty character with his views but you suckers must be even thicker to believe anything he posts.

There isn't going to be one, no one is interested in less than a NETT 300m barrels of very heavy oil. Bearing in mind the problems encountered and the recent huge downgrade to the 2P numbers I doubt they will be overly confident in the 505m GROSS. Surely you must realise that when the C numbers have to be added in to make the numbers larger they're real desperate.

How the Budget oil agreement looking now that there seems there will be a challenge to it in the coming weeks? How long will any agreement last anyway. It won't as there's a natural distrust between the different parties involved.

What is the purpose of an EBT?

EBTs were originally intended to act as an incentive for employees, encouraging greater loyalty towards a company, and rewarding members of staff at the appropriate time. In setting up these trusts, companies were able to attract highly qualified staff, likely to remain with them for the long-term.

Other schemes originated as tax planning mechanisms whereby companies and personnel could minimise their liability for tax and National Insurance, and were often used by higher-rate tax payers and were particularly popular with contractors.

An EBT affected the way these contractors and other trust beneficiaries were paid. Rather than receive all money as traditional earned income, they were instead paid a minimal salary, and then the remainder of their remuneration by way of low interest loans routed via a sub-trust set up by their company which significantly limited the associated burden of tax and national insurance. In some instances loans were offered in a way that made it highly unlikely they would ever be repaid. This also alerted HMRC to the potential for tax evasion, and the consequent reclaiming of corporation tax.

Iraq, US to Discuss Security, Education, Economy in 'Strategic Dialogue': MP

ERBIL - An Iraqi lawmaker has revealed that Baghdad and Washington will discuss the files related to security, education, energy, economy in their planned ‘Strategic Dialogue’.

The third round of the strategic dialogue has been scheduled for April 7, as Iraq has sent a formal request to President Joe Biden's administration for setting a date to resume the talks on the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington.

Gatah al-Rikabi, a member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, told Shafaq News that "the talks will touch upon a spectrum of fields related to economy, education, energy, and security."

However, the most important focus of the talks during the third round of strategic dialogue will be on the withdrawal of the US forces from Iraq, the lawmaker said.

"The government will establish a committee to schedule the exit of the US forces from Iraq. The committee will be headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. It will also consist of a national security advisor, the head of the Army Staff, and the chief of the Prime Minister’s Bureau," he added, as quoted by the report.

At 55 k that gives GKP $23 a Bll , a bit high , Lemmings was at $15.73 a bll to GKP profit.
