Clown shoes Tony?

In a few months time, with a bit of luck, you might be able to buy a car where the doors keep falling off.

Why not get a telephone that squirts water into your ear, each time you want to phone someone's boss because they've been rude to you on a bulletin board?

That's like saying your one pick throw away from the biggest nugget you'll ever see JB . GKP is lean and mean now , I expect the Sp to rise soon .What we will get sold for is a pointless guess as that it's going to happen for quite some time now.

Interested parties, PLEASE, forget the share price. It's not important at this juncture. Unless you're buying.

That is an excellent suggestion, Hector.

The marketing department will love it.

Soon, we will be taking note of where we were when gkp takes the head shot from the grassy knoll.

NoR, to take the blame. The technocrats will not be career politicians/leaders, and won't stand or fall based on popular ratings.

As I've said, the IMF doesn't work for nothing. It's going to exact quite a lot from the basic Iraqi (who won't understand that he'd be dead otherwise).

Later, the same scumbags will resume their seats in the cabinet, shaking their heads and promising their followers that they'll never again allow foreigners to run the Iraqi economy.

However, Iraq will cease to exist in all but name this year.

Not our problem. We'll have sold for a profit by then.

equity holders should get ready to bend..

Looking forward, the Group faces material uncertainties relating to its ability to meet the significant coupon payments in April and October 2016, as well as the debt repayment of $250 million in April 2017 and $325 million in October 2017, as discussed further in the going concern section of the "Summary of Significant Accounting Policies". Continuing the wide-ranging Strategic Review which began in February 2015, we are actively considering our options to strengthen our balance sheet and secure new funding, including balance sheet restructuring, capital raise, and acceleration of MNR arrears payments. Separately, and in accordance with our commitment under the terms of the guaranteed notes, from 23 October 2015, the Company entered and is continuing discussions with the representatives for the noteholders.

We recognise that, given the Group's debt burden, the current oil price environment, the geopolitical challenges in Iraq and, as a result, the low likelihood of an asset transaction in the near future, obtaining alternative funding and restructuring the Group's balance sheet is essential to the Group's ability to continue as a going concern.

It strikes me that the dream of independence is well and truly on hold.
We have the the major oil producers in Kurdistan announcing declines in oil production - but suggesting how easy it is to lift production markedly - with relatively small amounts of capex. However, that capex will not be invested by anyone - anyone - until the payment mechanism is absolutely clear.
I go along with Zor.
The only way that will happen is with SOMO and the IMF.
As many have already pointed out, it will become clear this calendar year - and probably before June - whether or not GKP will survive. It is in the hands of the KRG.

Forgot to add: Does anyone else feel that Genel and GKP are endeavouring to put some pressure onto the KRG to get the financing in order.

Tony, I'm in a very comfortable place. It's called "In Profit". I hope those shoes are comfortable as you won't have the money to buy another pair for a while.

So, did you ring 1712's boss to berate him? The kind of thing you were accusing Waterhouse of doing? Maybe you can walk to his office and shake people's hands?
