10/5/2024 12:48 | tygwyg well said the a hasn’t got a brain in his head ,for all his studying he never gets anything right ,whatever will be will be ,I’m just off to lunch with a billionaire and his family the topic of conversation will be the stock market and shares ,he has just bought his 16th property in central London I’ve known him for over seventy years, off out now to meet up with them all , good luck, | alangriffbang

10/5/2024 11:43 | Of course, this is all idle speculation. The definitive account will be revealed later today when Alan shares his lunchtime briefing notes from really rich friend. | theapiarist
10/5/2024 11:27 | Maybe so, tygwyg. But at 1.5 million tonne/annum they can only process a fraction of it before the licence expires. They have no plans to expand the plant and, as far as we know, no plans to extend the licence. It would seem to be too much trouble for them. The best we can hope for is that someone else is being lined up to do the necessary heavy lifting. | theapiarist
10/5/2024 11:22 | Some numbers to underline your point, Rose. On 26th February the company announced their latest buyback programme stating:- “the Company will purchase up to 10 million outstanding ordinary shares beginning immediately”. Their idea of immediate doesn’t chime with mine. 10 weeks were allowed to elapse before the buying of stock began in earnest on 1st May. During this period of inactivity the share price rose from 99p to 157p. Since restarting the share price has slipped to the present 150p | theapiarist
