14/4/2019 18:58 | Tried two posts to stimulate discussion of GFM - total and utter fail !!!!! Enjoy your bickering. | podgyted
14/4/2019 18:40 | What did everyone do on a Sunday in years gone by. A family day, wash the car, mow the lawn? Indeed what I would give for the days gone by. Take a step back. Stop addressing people at the beginning of each post as "idiot" Try talking about Zinc and the hidden stock piles, the trends and where that would place the company we ARE ALL invested in. Off to enjoy my roast now. Good day. | up just a little bit
14/4/2019 18:36 | Poor old Molinari Such is life Speaking of which many of the posters here need to get one I rather like Rose' s sometimes cantankerous posts I have been reading them for the most part of my retired life I accept that Zoo doesn't care about dividends, that is his call But I struggle to identify a meaningful post from the III refugees that shed any light on anything to do with GFM but I digress Back to the golf | phillis
14/4/2019 18:09 | Lets see if you are on a low PER when the results are published - if that is the case I'll join the party. Leave this BB now so you can get on with the serious business of slagging one another off. Be back at results. | podgyted
14/4/2019 17:59 | You have nothing but name-calling. I have no trouble keeping up with your empty posts. Pretending that you are manipulating me is not going to stop me pointing out your invective. It defines you. | rose_by_another_name
14/4/2019 17:29 | Rose you're a TROLL!!!I was wondering how long it would take.Talk about play you like a fiddle....... | zooman
14/4/2019 17:24 | Again the ad hominem invective. Everyone knows your position- you don't care and will attack anyone who does. | rose_by_another_name
14/4/2019 17:16 | Sage. You could be right because if they issue I dividend it could be a sign but not holding ones breath. The idiot will now appear saying so you do want a dividend. I shall say, if it comes it comes.Zoo | zooman
14/4/2019 17:11 | N. When I spoke to RG the other week I asked about the environmental report or whatever it was called. He said it had all been submitted hence my next question was "Is there anything outstanding" he said no it was now a case of the Chinese getting their act together. He then told me that once they were notified there would be a period of six weeks to wait however once the notification had been issued they would inform the shareholders by RNS.Zoo | zooman
14/4/2019 16:06 | Question for anyone in the know. There was a comment earlier about about the ‘cost -% share’ in relation to the licence. I was under the impression that the licence had been approved in principle and there were just some administrative issues such as environmental statements etc to finalise. Does anyone know any more about the true position of where we are in relation to the licence or any outstanding ‘conditions | millwallfan
14/4/2019 15:47 | Neville- I would never work for a charity. People who do so are either well-meaning volunteers who are exploited by the well- paid directors, or the directors themselves, who live well off of funds the donors surely believed were destined to better purposes. Do you work for a charity? | rose_by_another_name
14/4/2019 15:05 | Hi alangrifbang Those were the days my friend “ We thought they would never end “ how wrong we were CD | neville1940
14/4/2019 14:45 | Hi sage I was there in 2007 when we got a maiden dividend ,didn't think we would be 12 years down the road waiting for a second one, | alangrifbang
14/4/2019 14:30 | The reasons why I believe that a modest dividend would be useful are : that it gives the investors an income that is not solely driven by potential capital gain. It is a positive discipline for the directors. It is a stated aim of the BOD to reinstate the dividend. Lastly a number of institutions and income funds solely invest in funds that pay dividends and we would thus be attractive to a broader class of investors. Mining is hostage to commodity prices and mining accidents so it makes sense to have a decent cash cushion. Similarly once we do get the license I believe that GFM will want to further expand capacity. Better to do this from cash than borrowings. It is for these reasons why I believe that a dividends is desirable but likely to be modest. We are currently on a low P/E ratio and a dividend may also improve that via a re- Rated Sp. All IMHO. | sageman
14/4/2019 13:19 | Those entangled in the three eyed group dynamic of mutual support are differentiating along the lines of invective. Some, like alangriffbang and lately sageperson (who used to employ it) eschew, and their posts are notably more mature and measured as a result. Zooperson and now neville are moving the other way. I put it to them again that the only ones hurt by name-calling are those who employ it. I realize this advice would be more acceptable if it came from one of the others in the group, but any such seemingly critical comment would go against the group dynamic, which does not permit members to criticize each other, even mildly. Agreement is the only allowed response, in fact as zooperson has put it previously, "I totally agree!", a response to others' posts with which he often chimes in. It adds nothing of substance to the exchange but reinforces group bonding. | rose_by_another_name
14/4/2019 12:59 | CD. Care in the community!:-)))I do love my phone.Zoo | zooman
14/4/2019 12:58 | Don't see why GFM particularly need a "decent cash cushion" over what they say they had at the interim stage. The malaise in the share price here is more to do with people waiting to see if production was back on track in H2 rather than POZ. I say "people" because institutions won't get involved here until there is a dividend. License may or may not:- a)Arrive in the near future. b)Be attractive - ie what are the conditions attached (cost, % of local share ....) Hopefully the accounts will address some or all of these issues. | podgyted
14/4/2019 12:56 | Hi Zo Have a nice walk do not know why you engage with that Moron Cheers CD | neville1940
14/4/2019 12:04 | Zooperson- Again with the personal attacks. It seems to be all you have. | rose_by_another_name
14/4/2019 11:59 | Hi CD, have a good time and enjoy yourself. Just had my daily laugh at the resident fool. Not long now and we should see where things are at.I think the dog is trying to tell me something given its standing there with its lead in its mouth. :-)Zoo | zooman
14/4/2019 11:44 | Hi Zooman, Off to Spain next week spend majority of next 6/7 months there just love the way of life living virtually outdoors Nice BBQ and sit outside with a nice glass of Rioja until say midnight then and I am a happy bunny Cheers CD | neville1940
14/4/2019 11:39 | Zooperson- There are many partisan hit pieces aimed at Trump. The fact is that whatever he started with, he has made many times more, and then won the election for the president of the USA. For you to call him an idiot reflects only on your own judgement and lack of self control. He is certainly smarter than you. | rose_by_another_name |
