02/4/2019 16:04 | CD/sage/zoo/Alan. I've just had a small top up on europa oil and gas at 2.9p. Worth a few minutes research if you are interested. | millwallfan
02/4/2019 14:29 | Zinc is on 3016 ,the usa China talks re going well ,and China are suddenly looking better, this is all positive news ,hopefully this will be reflected in the results,ad mat of all the chairmans report is carefully thought out and worded correctly ,we can't afford a mess up like the last results, | alangrifbang
02/4/2019 09:33 | Up. Very much so. Due to the amount of shares held by the large investers/ BoD and only 30%ish held by what is referred to as the small shareholders in the scheme of things, thus meaning that we're not really required anymore. Such is the way of life.Zoo | zooman
02/4/2019 08:14 | If you set a buy limit below the current offer price it will only be fulfilled if the market price drops. It isn't a way to force sellers to give you "fair" price. | rose_by_another_name
02/4/2019 07:00 | Many buys of GFM. How do I buy GFM ?. I had a limit order to buy GFM and it expired unfulfilled. The profits from DEB. My usual GFM problem getting a fair price buying and selling. | vesna09
01/4/2019 09:16 | A. So negative! but more than likely true. A positive start to the week.Zoo | zooman
01/4/2019 08:10 | There is no chance that will happen, | alangrifbang
01/4/2019 08:03 | Maybe they should update the website | up just a little bit
01/4/2019 07:56 | PWC took over in September This is their first year end | phillis
01/4/2019 04:06 | If they have changed them and it was previously news worthy then you would have thought the same thing would apply now? | up just a little bit
01/4/2019 04:04 | So who are the "New auditors" the last news release re auditors was in September 18 and it was PWC, however the website section under "company says it's Grant Thornton. | up just a little bit
31/3/2019 22:07 | New auditors is the official reason of course but I don't buy it But I am a cynic | phillis
31/3/2019 20:32 | It's a crying shame but I couldn't agree more,come on Rose welcome our friend back, | alangrifbang
31/3/2019 19:24 | New auditors is the reason why I am expecting the results to be later than usual. A friend told me that Zooman had returned here and it is the main reason for my return combined with the fact that this is the part of the year when things get interesting at GFM. I know that some here don’t like it but I expect the BOD to remain very tight lipped until the license is secured. This has though been one very long game of Chinese patience. | sageman
31/3/2019 18:52 | Licence is a bit like practice As license is like practise In English grammar one is a noun and the other commonly the verb We have indeed been promised a reserve update but - as I commented previously this has been on the cards for some time and shouldn't be the reason for any delay Other reasons? New auditors of course Waiting for 3.5 months 2019 performance in order that the Chairman can wax eloquently again about the promising future? Expecting the 2nd stage is the 47 stage licence approval process on 22 nd April? Etc etc | phillis
31/3/2019 18:26 | Hi Sage. Good to hear from you. Oh dear the D word. Not long now and someone will be laughing or crying?!This lack of news is interesting, last speaking to Griffin resources were mentioned also I asked what did the Chairman mean by "watch this space". Zince price is up which is good but also Griffin dont sell at the gate but against an agreed price. Given that around 70% of shares are held by the BoD and large the investers Griffin don't have to overflow the the news? stream. Given the financial year end / new year are around the corner now is the time to keep an eye out. Zoo | zooman
31/3/2019 17:58 | Hello sage nice to hear from you ,you realise by mentioning a small dividend you will have a friend in Rose again! I am still a bit perturbed that my broker in London still repeatedly makes griffin a sell, hey have heard nothing for so long that they can't even give it a rating,my BANGO shares are moving up nicely ,I think the usa China debate has got more chance of happening than Brexit, keep smiling, | alangrifbang
31/3/2019 17:10 | Hi Zooman, Cd, MWF and Alan. Good to see some no nonsense posting from Zooman. We remain in news blackout mode and I believe results will be late April this year. In the meantime strong gold and zinc in recent weeks may tip the balance in favour of a small dividend. My understanding is that the low quality ore which led to poor results last time round ( combined with lower commodity prices) will not be repeated.I expect that once the US/China trade war is over sentiment will change here but the big one is the license. Until we get the license expect the BOD to remain tight lipped ( why no JORC for years?)think about it. For me GFM remains a game of strategy and patience with a volatile commodity market thrown in to keep us on our toes. Have been nibbling away buying up shares sub £1. Seems like my predicted low of 80-90p has held. I remain long term very positive on GFM. | sageman
30/3/2019 05:57 | Bingo! We've hit 3000. No time for a rerate | alangrifbang
28/3/2019 15:58 | SHANGHAI ZINC: The most traded May zinc contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose as much as 2.1 percent to 22,450 yuan ($3,344.46) a tonne, its highest since March 7, 2018, | vesna09
28/3/2019 15:53 | GFM 97.15p to sell | vesna09
28/3/2019 14:47 | Zinc up again one more push and it will reach 3000 ,the reason the price drop s nobody knows a thing, | alangrifbang
28/3/2019 11:14 | You have to wonder how the LME is dissuading people from withdrawing stocks. It happens every time they get near a graph division. Stocks were plunging and then the line leveled out. That will hold for a bit longer and then it will crash through and resume the slide. At least, that's the pattern. | rose_by_another_name |
