RG specifically told me that the results would be delayed due to the change of auditors “ and for no other reason” and that one should not read anything negative in to the delay. Time will tell.

I still go back zoo to them releasing this news last week and not with the results,I've got that nagging feeling this could mask bad results,as usual with GFM its full of ifs and buts,

They would have got their "feet under the table" during an interim audit visit prior to the year-end.

Anyway, pointless really, we'll see what we shall see.

As if they would say we're waiting to see what happens. The financial results are more than likely already completed bar the signatures.Either way it is what it is. Zoo

The official version is that the new auditors ( who were appointed in September last!) need time to get their feet under the table

The normal market reaction to that would be to postulate that the results are bad and they are hanging on in the hope they can mitigate that disappointment with some good news.

There is no administrative reason why the results should not be produced at the same time as last year.

What the truth is, is anyone's guess. But this is not a good time to make the market nervous.

Rose, when I spoke to him we talked about the frustration regarding the time being taken for the go ahead on the licence and the results. My question was, when could we expect the Results to be released? His response was around the end of the month.Given this is later than normal is it possible they be holding on because they feel the licence just may be approved and want a big hit so to speak? Your guess is as good as mine.Zoo

Rose sorry to hear about the stones -ouch!You were most prophetic regarding your statements that this is the time of year that SXX usually flies. At one point up 20% today. Had a B/E of 22.45 so profits taken on 90% of my holding. Bought some more GFM a few days back at 1.11. I expect results after Easter. RG didn't give a date just that with the new auditors it would be towards the end of the month.

A. Yes you're right, I've known RENE for a long time and set stop losses. But given that I bought in a few weeks ago at 59p and its now £2.29 I'm quite happy. Given the increase I dont give a stuff about any dividends on this one . -:)I would like to see Griffin do the same when they announce the new licence and increased production.Zoo

GFN is rising but it's not holding,it's pretty weak,as for RENE,zoo,it is going up and up but my experience is that it will tumble pretty quickly ,hope not for your sake but it needs to be watched very carefully,

posted on April 10 last year, which was a
