ian , it was so far out of whack, in fact my GNK holding was almost double the size of any of my other twenty four holdings. It's still easily my largest holding. I'm more comfortable with that.

Having an 'unbalanced' portfolio gives you greater returns (profit or loss, admittedly) than average. Selling your most successful stocks simply because they have been....errr...successful condemns you to average returns, surely?

I did consider a trailing stop loss, but Ive been scaling into another stock. Im relatively happy with 20% profit and I think I can get a better ROI from the other stock. Each to their own though. All the best!

What happened to running winners and selling losers?! I don't use 'em myself, but if you're worried about losing a profit, why not set a trailing stop loss?

Dont know why it's rising so much but it's a 52 week breakout. However, investing dotcom app is showing it as slightly overbought on the monthly figures. RSI is only 56 though. Decisions, decisions. Ive got a sell order in @ 670p. But ive a feeling it's one I might regret!

To clarify - if you're with HL you need to request that these be sent - a holding alone is not enough
