Yes that drop was unexpected phil, I've bought another 1k at £4.87 - seems to have established a temporary trading range 10-15p either side of £5. Good weekend all, cheers :)

Nothing to worry about, it is just market manipulation. Not illegal but conducted by legitimate criminals. It will go back up when they have bought enough cheap shares. This market is not here for your benefit.

I had a night earlier this year in a Premier Inn at Leeds Bradford airport before a very early flight and I must say it was just fine :-)

But many want cheap and cheerful, nothing wrong with that.

I stayed in a Travel lodge once on an overnighter, never again!.

Ian, thought once MAB had worked through their major pension contribution
cycle, it may be worth a look. JDW are wiping the floor with the sector atm.
Consumers want value. WTB hit that nail on the head with Premier Inn, ABF
with Primark, Ryanair with flights etc, Aldi with food. The next recession will further hasten
that trend towards value, as consumers increasingly ditch premium.

Agree about MAB but I think the thing that the market have picked up on is that sales have been pretty robust and the feared collapse in discretionary spending has simply not happened (so far!). Mind you, after a prolonged heatwave and the World Cup campaign, I should blimmin' well think so!

MAB looked pretty uninspiring on the update.
I've got it on a longer term watch list, but might delete it.
Added a few WTB yesterday morning, would like that lower.

having savaged the strategy of paying dividends at the current level,

Rather disappointing end to the week before my 5pm early doors, however, good to see GNK offering more guest ales. MARS still holding up and trading update on 10th Oct will hopefully be as bullish GNK. VOD creeping back up Phil and keep an eye on Revolution Bars RBG. Good weekend all, keep propping up the bar.
