10/12/2020 10:09 | Gervaise Heddle stated in GGP AGM the otherday when pressed about Scallywag drill results, that labs were overwhelmed so there was a delay but we should hear something around Christmas or New Year. That's just a few weeks away! For newbies, Scallywag area is nextdoor to Haveiron JV area and holds 4 distinct prospects, Kraken London Blackbeard and Barbossa. Drilling took place at Kraken and ....a few weeks later more drilling took place at Kraken with what looked to be diamond drills. This was generously posted online by Paddygall, who has done a phenomenal job in keeping investors upto date with data on GGP, Haveiron and Paterson licenses. After that Kraken drilling, then everything went silent... A discovery of Copper or Gold or both at Kraken will derisk the other prospects around it. All 4 prospects are 100% GGP. I'm hoping they can replicate the success they have already witnessed at Haveiron and further derisk the surrounding prospects and open up a whole new area for exploration. Cash | cashandcard

10/12/2020 09:57 | Before rushing to the exit, let us see what scallywag has to offer.A tasty morsel maybe. | imperial3
10/12/2020 09:51 | Some more from Hannam & Partners Broker Note today: "We are currently working on an updated DCF valuation for Havieron, reflecting both the published JORC Resource and the clear further upside potential, and looking at various scenarios with respect to potentially using a combination of sublevel stoping and caving mining methods. We will update our Havieron NPV and Greatland Gold target price in our next note once our valuation is complete. Havieron is a world class gold/copper orebody and we are confident that our valuation will reflect this." | timberwolf
10/12/2020 09:49 | Eezymunny, Firstly, jurisdiction and partner/cost may have something to do with that. Where would you rather be, Australia or Egypt? Australia is the best mining jurisdiction to be in bar none. GGP is looking to take Haveiron through to production, we are probably looking in the region of 400-500k Oz once in production. To this extent - Newcrest are ahead of schedule and moving at lightning speed to get Haveiron into development and production. Grades are rich compared to Newcrests nearby Telfer mine - Newcrest desperately need to improve AISC at Telfer (reportedly around $1900/2000) = Haveirons rich ore is the answer. Words of all partners, the story at Haveiron has just started. The orebody is open in several directions and at depth (currently down to 1,100metres). MRE is 4.2mln over just a small portion of the early drilling - the true resource probably dwarfs this already as they have done plenty more drilling thats not been included for purpose of the MRE. But I expect when this goes into production it will be alot higher and when resource is finalised some years down the line, it will be clear to see a 15-20mln Oz Gold/Copper deposit at Haveiron alone of which GGP will have 30% (or 25% if Newcrest buy 5% at market value). Given the location within easy reach of Newcrests Telfer plant, and bulk mining being likely method, this is going to be a low cost operation. Now here is the $64k question; what have they got at Scallywag? Scallywag is on trend and shares similarities with Haveiron, if they confirm Copper/Gold discovery there similar to Haveiron - at 100% to GGP its going to be worth a fortune. The real value for anyone investing now is to grow and move Haveiron towards production - but that's under Newcrests control. What GGP can control is what they discover at Scallywag and how they can unlock value there. Its bizarre to me folk posting all these others as the next GGP, they are not as derisked as GGP and do not have the potential for another 2-3-4 Haveirons in 'look-a-like' prospects with similar gravity and magnetic signatures. Haveiron as a firm footing makes the rest of GGP's assetbase in the Paterson a call option on future growth. Can they do it again? I think yes and we will find out soon. Cash | cashandcard
10/12/2020 09:43 | Well, Centamins equivalent in Australia is SARACEN MINERALS, 400k ounces per annum. £3 Billion MC | pr0t0n
10/12/2020 09:41 | So on a valuation basis we are around 30p for the MRE calculated portion of Hav we own, so no value for the rest of HAV (which we don't know but must be a good double up and more from here) plus all our other licencesThis is why I wanted scally results t this time. Would hav been 40p | telbap
10/12/2020 09:40 | T, GGP are based in Australia as we all know. Better there than say China, Africa etc. Happy days and the opportunity to buy some more on the cheap today with the MMs happy to buy large chunks if the button's pushed. Zoo | zooman

10/12/2020 09:29 | MRE 4.2million oz au equivalent. Well history already! as no doubt the resource is considerably bigger as the drill bit will reveal. Share price reaction a bit disappointing but should recover imo. gla | wisteria2
10/12/2020 09:28 | Did someone mention they will all be buying back in again :) | amunro
10/12/2020 09:20 | Daddy, relax, start to worry when Newcrest stop spending money on GGP | mikedon1946
10/12/2020 09:11 | Hold the main for more more news and growth, But time to buy, these for short term gain, £20000 hold till new tax year, will be past 0.34 so at least £2000 tax free. At times like this some shares are better than money in bank, we know these will go above 0.5p so if you don't need it now a very good policy. | mikedon1946
