👉🏻 (Quote 4th Dec) £50 billion in UK banknotes is 'missing.' Nobody has an explanation !

A group of UK lawmakers said on Friday as much as £50 billion ($67.4 billion) in cash was "missing," and it urged the Bank of England to investigate.

The money is "stashed somewhere but the Bank of England doesn't know where, who by or what for — and doesn't seem very curious," Meg Hillier, chair of the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee (PAC), which oversees government finances, said in a statement. "It needs to be more concerned about where the missing £50 billion is," she added.

The Bank of England immediately pushed back. "Members of the public do not have to explain to the Bank why they wish to hold banknotes. This means that banknotes are not missing," a spokesperson said in a statement, adding that the central bank would continue to meet public demand for notes.

unfortunately you must have got me confused with somebody else.

I dont rent a house, I own a house thanks to hardwork & grafting. I suspect the Xmas dinner will probably be coming from either Sainsburys or Tesco but why this matters is beyond me really.

I've never actually claimed any sort of Benefits not even furlough, and with the exception of 1st Covid lockdown, me and my team have carried on working throughout 2020 in accordance with Govt guidelines. It's called being a "Key Worker"

As regards all my lifesavings invested in Boohoo, nice try at a wind up but thankfully completely untrue. Why are you so keen for me to buy GGP ? Have you got some to sell ?

How's your Angus Energy investment going ? Seems your investment in SYME was another bad decision too ?

I'd have thought a 47 year old Company Director would have been smarter than chucking his money into an empty black hole, but hey ho.

Stick to your £100 per month regular saver into Halifax, me thinks.

Thanks for introducing the topic of Trump's
election struggle, zoo, but you have it
backwards. He is instituting court actions
against others who have broken the rules.

I expect this to drop on news, with the run we have had this week.
mind you, we ran from 12p to 27 back in Aug-Sept before a pullback
this time we have gone from 22p to 32 p so there could be a bit further to go yet

always such a temptation to sell into the spike but the big money comes by holding on, and I have always said I will hold to the end of the story here, which has paid off, because it keep on getting better.
