Thanks for the reply. I just wondered what figure might be produced soon. Will they take as much data as they can including results not yet published to increase the initial estimate or leave the calculations up to the September quarterly report.Does Newcrest or even GGP want a big figure at this stage as it could increase the possibility of a takeover from the likes of Rio?You are correct in that the figure will only get bigger as the drilling continues. Looking forward to the report when it lands.

Haven't posted for a long time.....
Simple question to those in know...temperatures at this time of year on site are formidable. Is this likely to cause suspension of drilling or possibly other works? Ie it's going to be possible to work if you have protection of aircon cab but working outside in around 40deg ain't good

There is no way I`d know that, or anyone at this point.
I speculated that SRK would only need 2-3 weeks to review the data.
So, up to mid November assays the latest I`d imagine.
At the end of the day doesn`t matter....there will be lots of drilling after
the initial resource estimate/

It will be soon, I would rather MRE gets done and dusted ahead of Scallywag results - I don't want anything lingering when that is ready for release.Cash

Pr0t0n, do you know what date they will take up to, when calculating the MRE?I should imagine they have some form of matrix that they put the information on to, which helps calculate the figure, but at what point will they say, this is the maiden MRE?Could they include the next set of data due to be released shortly,or just use the data provided in the published reports prior to this?I don't know if you have knowledge of the process, but I just wondered, that's all.

I just wondered how Newcrest will classify the resource estimate.
We know that Havieron is a very complex and huge. .
Inferred for sure, because there just wasn`t enough drilling done due to the size as
I mentioned that couple of weeks ago.
Also, would it be all gold equivalent, or AU and CU done separately ?
We shall see.
Most likely SRK independently reviewed and rubber stamped it for NCM.

Morning campers, all set for the AGM.Discovered last night that the permits for clearing the ground at Havieron have been grated on the 26th November. Yep, thanks Cash. I read/saw DL's previous commentary, which was very encouraging, but he sounds significantly more upbeat now than then. I like his use of the word 'monster' and a suggestion that the boundaries could stretch a long way. I wonder how the tensions between the local interests of Newcrest and Artemis will shake out?
