Great buying opportunity arthritis |
Arthur.
You daft mug. Missed out here. Hehe |
I believe Canaccord are GRL's house broker and was it 17p over a 12 month period?
This is a pretty fair assessment until the 'market' gets to know all the financial details which will be set out in April? Then if all stacks up there will certainly be a revised projected share price figure put out. |
Sell your kidney if you must but don’t sell GGP |
IMO Cavendish do not really know what is really going on with Greatland and Telfer. They probably believe what Roger Mason (CEO Antipa) said in July 2024, that Telfer was rapidly running out of ore and they would need Minyari Dome ore to fill the 22 million ore trains at Telfer. For a start the trains are 10 million tonnes each which is 20 million tonnes per annum and Telfer is not running out of ore. Newcrest management at Telfer wanted to drill the West Dome underground 10 years ago but according to Shaun it did not meet Newcrests requirements to be funded, better pickings elsewhere. Telfer was unloved. Shaun did also say Telfer was the French Foreign Legion of Newcrest, nobody really wanted to go there. Majors have too much easy pickings to choose from their tier 1 mines. Where has Telfer's millions of ounces gone?, it is probable still there waiting to be found. A small hungrier and lazer focused company like Greatland can find these smaller deposits that can each give 1 or 2 years mine life to Telfer. Shaun has ex Northern Star colleagues Simon Tyrrell ans Shaun McLoughnay boots on the ground at Telfer for 18 months who seen it all and done it before. When Shaun was at Northern Star they took over 6 mines from majors,4 of them had less than 1 years minelife, all 6 of them are still producing 10 years later. You have to be ahead of the curve and IMO opinion Roger Mason from Antipa is not. |
Oh dear dipping into 8s again today, just stayed above 9, just! Hydrogen1 , of course, is hiding again as he does everytime the price drops , just another slap to his desperate disingenuous chops. Worrying times isn't it? Red again tomorrow and to finish firmly in 8s? |
On current numbers revenue for full year 27/28 both trains running showing as 1.75 Bn$ |
This Is Money SMALL CAP IDEA: London-listed gold miner has seen its share price soar 42% this year 10th March 2025
A 42 per cent profit. That's what you'd have made on Greatland Gold shares if you'd bought at the start of 2025.
The catalyst? A growing realisation that the group is on the cusp of something big.
But as we'll see, the recent flourish may be just the beginning, with key value inflexion points still to come.
Western Australia-focused Greatland's success hasn't been overnight, nor has the journey been linear.
There was a flirtation with precious metals giant Newmont which, while not progressing as expected, has worked out perfectly for Greatland and its backers.
December 4 last year marked a major milestone as the company secured full control of Havieron, a world-class gold and copper prospect... |
Basel III has been running in the UK for some time now. The USA have dodged the bullet thus far but now have to comply. Once they do, then they will have to offer physical option to the players out there, rather than them coming to the uk all the time. Also, on a compliance side it will mean they will have to look closely at the bat volumes of paper they write, should it all complete to physical, can they cover it. lol no is the short answer.Gonna be fun over the next months as they scrabble to pull gold into the COMEX in order to get their house in orders!! |
Greatland Gold - Transforming into a Major Gold-Copper Producer ShareTalk 9th March 2025
Retail investors who have been following Greatland’s journey will know that 2024 was a defining year. The company made its biggest move yet—completing the transformational acquisition of both Havieron and Telfer, marking its transition into a full-fledged gold-copper producer. This wasn’t just a minor shift; it was a game-changer.
Greatland secured 100% ownership of Havieron and full control of Telfer in a landmark deal with Newmont, finalized on December 4, 2024. The acquisition involved an upfront payment of US$167 million in cash, alongside US$167.5 million in Greatland shares, which resulted in Newmont becoming a 20.4% shareholder in the company. In addition, Greatland repaid US$52.4 million (£41.4 million) in joint venture debt, leaving the company debt-free.
This deal not only consolidates Greatland’s position as a major player in the Paterson Province but also unlocks significant synergies between Havieron and Telfer. By owning both assets outright, Greatland can fully optimize an integrated mining and processing operation, accelerating development timelines and maximizing operational efficiencies.... |
Cavendish Go Heavy on Future Greatland/Antipa M&A Activity
"Minyari Dome is just 35km from Greatland Gold’s (formerly Newmont’s), Telfer 22Mtpa processing facility. While the base case remains a standalone operation, it makes sense for Greatland to look at Minyari and Antipa as an obvious target to provide ore to help fill it’s Telfer plant, which Greatland plans to run at 25% capacity and on a campaign basis. With Havieron due to produce 258,000 gold equivalent ozpa, the addition of 130,000ozpa from Minyari would take Greatlands’ production profile close to that of KCGM’s Kalgoorlie Superpit."
"We believe that now Greatland has completed its acquisition of Telfer from Newmont and remains on track to be listed on the ASX around the middle of this year, Greatland will start to move forward with further consolidation in the Paterson. With Sumitomo buying into Rio’s Winu development project, Greatland’s Telfer acquisition, and Appian Capital Advisory LLP’s offer to acquire Cyprium Metals for its Nifty copper development project, interest in the Paterson has certainly accelerated dramatically." |
Sorry Hazl - did you mean to post that here? Surely one for the SHA thread, not GGP!
Ahh - I see - refers to your 669 post. Got it! |
'The final regulations are set to be released with enough time to take effect on July 1, 2025. At that point, a three-year phase-in of the regulations would begin. PwC. "Basel III Endgame: Complete Regulatory Capital Overhaul." But what exactly does Basel III entail, and why has it led to such heated rhetoric in the financial world? Below, we go through what's in the reforms, how they would impact banks, and why what happens to Basel III Endgame is important for everyday investors.'
