Teacup that's an excellent position to be in.. I would have confidence that in 5-6 years time ( or 10 years time ) those shares will be worth a lot more. By then copper prices and demand will be multiples of today, (with sustainable copper supplies probably commanding government premiums) not to mention GFC size deficits every year from 2027 in the US the gold price surly has many years of appreciation as central banks continue to rotate out of US treasury bonds in order to diversify |
Skyship this is exactly why Western Australian gold and gold producers are valued at significantly (20-30% premiums) to other gold producers.And weirdly that includes Canadian listed producers because they are often operating in South American jurisdictions.If gold ever were to be confiscated in the US again (unlikely) but not impossible I think we are much safer operating in Australia because the mining industry rules Australia and no politician can change that. |
