The results for Great Portland are out next Tuesday ( 19th). A good report yesterday, they sold two properties for £1 in excess of book value. (march accounts). Lots of directors buying in last two months. Today very good volumes, and some extended settlement trades.

Interesting move up against the prevailing sector and wider market. Today UP 10p @ 335p.

Was there a write-up somewhere? Either way, it could be that Liberty will soon be taking this one out; and if so then the whole quoted Real Estae market will do a very sudden about turn......

So, the Property market continues its run; and I am resisting the temptation to trouser a turn or two! Sold my HMSO far too early; and am not making the same mistake with GPOR, SLOU etc. For those other property bulls out there - act on Minerva (MNR). IMHO they are beginning to fly - now 252-5 (+10p so far this week)- short term target 290p. Have also added to my TOPS holding @ 185p, these have barely flickered thus far, but I anticipate a break into blue sky soon - Target 235p. DYOR on this one; and I would welcome others' views.

Sorry - a slight misunderstanding - English is such an imprecise language!
Shrug your shoulders when you read the first sentence and add the intonation of the world and his wife is buying this stock......because that is what I meant. Obviously all those brokers tipping the sector; and maybe Liberty in for a few more as well.

A good performance on a dull day; and another 900,000 shares slotted at 249p. Perhaps Liberty taking more on board ahead of an Offer. The next few days could be interesting !! These could be the next to follow HMSO & SLOU with a 10% jump......SKYSHIP
