18/1/2010 12:07 | Pillion, I've just looked up the GPOR website. The 3p dividend consisted of two parts. 1.8 was a 'Property Income Distribution (PID) dividend and the other 1.2p a 'non-PID' component. Seemingly the PID part is subject to a 20% withholding tax, ergo the 1.8p becomes 1.44 and our 3p dividend becomes 2.64p. Rather complicated. No doubt because of GPOR's status as a REIT. Since I bought in as a recovery rather than an income share I can't really be bothered looking much further into it.
