07/11/2024 08:39 | No "leakage" from yesterday's Capital Markets event? | zingaro
06/11/2024 14:21 | Well was getting excited when we hit 60p again. Thought we were on the way back up. Back to sleep. Disappointing day all round for me - again | scruff1
06/11/2024 13:17 | The tax credit will be received long before the Republicans manage to agree on a new budget. (Trump can't just stop it with a decree) And since the benefits of renewables incentives have mostly been going to Republican areas of the country, it's unlikely that certain congressmen would shoot themselves in the foot that way. In any event, it's still not great news when we need investors to be in a better mood about how the US remunerates BESS investments... | craigso
06/11/2024 10:31 | #pretax2 that’s a fair point however as a long term investor I do think it’s important to run any business looking after the bottom line and income and cashflow (as well as potential growth). This can be best exemplified by considering the impact of Trump’s win on the likelihood of the tax credit being awarded (on which all hopes are pinned on for covering the 7p divi). It’s also why there is frustration about the amount #GSC continue to take from the pot (of which the CEO is a beneficiary btw). Let’s hope 2025 is kinder to all of us! | cocopah
05/11/2024 10:32 | TBH the jam is tomorrow - it's a growth play. I'm more interested in their international development esp California which is sustainability mad. | pretax2
05/11/2024 09:53 | A cynic might say this capital markets day is all about preparing investors for reporting poor income in the December update and setting it off against jam in 2025 … no doubt that in the U.K. wind and solar are faring poorly at present. I do hope that institutional investors take #GSC to task over their exorbitant fees, personally I’ve had enough of them shilling investors. | cocopah
04/11/2024 12:48 | It wouldn't be new information by showing the analysts how the 7p dividend gets covered. | waterloo01
04/11/2024 12:46 | "No new material information will be disclosed." LOL I wouldn't expect to see much share price movement until GSF actually delivers dividend cover in its P&L / cash flow statement, but anything that improves the mood will certainly help those of us with positions already in place. | craigso
04/11/2024 11:34 | Divi cover is highly likely to be on the agenda. If they can convince the room that they will hit 1:1 cover....we should have a nice bounce IMO | waterloo01
04/11/2024 11:31 | I would have thought institutional investors would want to see "how the sausage is made" before they decide to partake... | kernelthread
04/11/2024 08:08 | Interesting to see if we see any buying post capital markets day | waterloo01
03/11/2024 23:01 | I’d like to see #GSF tie-up some more contractual income and perhaps dispose of some UK assets. Wind power generation has been trifling recently and I fear that the income generated in recent months will be at the lower end of expectations. December can’t come soon enough! | cocopah
30/10/2024 10:43 | Ok; Tar :-) | pretax2
30/10/2024 10:32 | That's an irrelevant document, required, as it says, by law, but utterly pointless to any investor. Try the annual reports instead. | hpcg
30/10/2024 10:12 | Thanks hpcg I found it here: hxxps://www.gsenergy The following says it all and seems acceptable to me. "In the first year, without fees, the performance you could have achieved would be 9.05%. After fees, the performance achieved is 7.05%. There are no entry/exit or transaction costs charged by Gore Street, there may however be costs charged by your share dealing service providers." | pretax2
30/10/2024 10:02 | What do you mean pretax2? All fees are incorporated in the financial reports. I would say the dividend is a bit up in the air. They say they are committed to 7p this year, 2025, but the market is clearly somewhat dubious. 7% of NAV doesn't sound outrageous as a target. It needs to be cash covered including amortisation of debt. | hpcg
30/10/2024 09:16 | Please can someone explain the impact of the annual fees here. The yield is about 7% minus the annual fees. How much does this erode the yield? Thanks in advance. PT | pretax2
28/10/2024 15:54 | As long as it keeps ticking up, @StEmIS should stay away ;) | spectoacc
28/10/2024 11:04 | Price moving up after a short period of consolidation.Should the price reach 100p in the future it will still offer an attractive dividend at 7%. | parob
21/10/2024 18:21 | @Cocopah. Modo Energy say that ERCOT system conditions evolved dramatically between June 2023 and June 2024 (and beyond?). It's possible that the ERCOT rate this financial year will be well below last year (=£200K/MW/year). | clissold345
21/10/2024 15:16 | Only for interest | mirandaj
21/10/2024 14:12 | Before we get too carried away about the good news on income from the middle of next year, it is worth noting that we haven’t had any insight into income over the last few months. Have a read of the information below and cross your fingers that July was an outlier!⬇A hxxps://modoenergy.c | cocopah
21/10/2024 13:31 | Just last year GSF went from 60p up to 90p in November / December. Two positive trading days don't make a trend, but it shouldn't be hard to repeat that feat if the market's in the mood... | craigso
21/10/2024 13:07 | Some of the strongest recoveries I've seen are at the end of very long downtrends. Friday's news was the catalyst to switch the trend. This could charge quite a bit higher from here before pausing for breath imo. Dividend cover much less of a concern now. | parob |
