28/4/2022 10:50 | I presume that they are going to have announce another buy back extension shortly. If the price remains under 10p then the logic is going to hold up to the 10% that they are permitted to buy back. It seems to me that there are probably a lot of long term holders who are pleased to get out with their money back, presuming they have. Each incremental increase in price will flush out further punters. It would seem likely that Martin Ooi will get a waiver of some sort. Not sure on the procedure. Does it require a vote? I would expect an ops update and the extension of buy backs to be announced together. | kimboy2
27/4/2022 15:45 | dinky00, even if we were being stuffed by 0.4p each time, it's only £1k and usually our price premium is far below that level. This is a thinly traded stock and making block purchases every day is bound to command some form of premium. | lowtrawler
27/4/2022 14:37 | And yet again the buyback programme gets stuffed at the high of the day and the share price is aggressively called down in an effort to scare out sellers before stuffing the buyback programme again tomorrow. Whoever is running the buyback on behalf of Goldplat is having a laugh | dinky00
26/4/2022 19:13 | Someone was keen this afternoon to pay 8.6p when the offer was 8.4p. Small amounts but still interesting. The buyback is clumsy in places, and it doesn't always feel they are getting the best price but it is doing what we want it to, which is taking out the price-insensitive seller. | dangersimpson2
25/4/2022 15:15 | Nice. Thanks. | arlington chetwynd talbott
25/4/2022 12:50 | How much GCAT do we still have? | arlington chetwynd talbott
22/4/2022 11:46 | dinky00, except there has been far more buying volume going through than sell volume. Either the MM's have built up a large position ready to sell to GDP or they have a large holder using the buybacks to offload. I'm happy for GDP to keep buying up to 10p and so happy for the MM's to suppress the price while the buybacks are ongoing. | lowtrawler
22/4/2022 10:25 | The Mkt Makers are stuffing Goldplat at 8.15-8.25p every day and then calling down the share immediately so they can buy the shares back below 7p. Didn't take them long to figure out how to shaft the company on this buyback | dinky00
21/4/2022 11:41 | they can pay up to 8.6p now. | shill10
21/4/2022 11:41 | 8.25p today. | shill10
21/4/2022 10:49 | agreed Danger. The likelihood is for at least a tranche or two more after this, a positive Q3 update - I guess there are some that are fed up waiting but this finally looks like the time the share price will start to reflect the fundamentals of the company. | shill10
20/4/2022 13:25 | I presume Hansi is selling his 1 million options he just acquired for a start. | kimboy2
20/4/2022 10:42 | The company appear to have got their 250k for 8.35p today so continuing to pay up. Someone still seems keen to sell though. With the company continuing to buy at higher prices I'm not sure why they would accept less than the current bid! Again this looks like some forced selling or maybe a bad trader. The more of them that can be cleared prior to the Q3 update the better. | dangersimpson2
20/4/2022 10:42 | looks like they paid 8.35p today | shill10
20/4/2022 09:18 | big auction seller seems done, they are going to move the price significantly if they want that size done soon and perhaps another tranche or two - and why not, they are sitting pretty on the purchases so far, especially those around 7p. | shill10
20/4/2022 09:02 | Presumably they will want this phase of buy backs completed before they issue the Q3/22 ops update. | kimboy2
19/4/2022 12:29 | yep - roughly 8.6p tomorrow. And the big seller looks like he's nearly finished. | shill10
19/4/2022 12:27 | Company happy to pay 8.25p today for their 250k. Good to see them still keen to buy as the price goes up. Shows the size of the undervaluation here. | dangersimpson2
19/4/2022 09:25 | I have roughly 8.2p today and 8.4p tomorrow - 5% above 5 day average. | shill10
14/4/2022 09:12 | By my (rough and ready) calculation they could only pay 7.7p today. | kimboy2
14/4/2022 08:06 | looks like they just paid 8p in the auction- if price stays here they will pay 8.2p on Tuesday and 8.4p on Wednesday .... | shill10
13/4/2022 15:09 | by my calculations GDP can pay close to 8p tomorrow assuming we close around here, lets see if they do... | shill10
13/4/2022 09:34 | I do a similar approach, low trawler- when you have 40% earnings yield in a zero % world, things look rather good going forward as long as gold doesn't collapse. | shill10
13/4/2022 09:15 | 8.4p trades....none of us have enough of this share. | shill10 |
