This Company should not be trading @ NAV......more like 5 x NAV = 40p

Might take a while to get there.....but assuming positive results continue over the next year.....it would not take me by surprise if we touched into the 30p range...!

Kimboy, if I read your numbers correctly, you think we're heading towards around £5m of attributable profits this year? That would be a fully diluted EPS of 3p. Even on a PER of 4, that would suggest 12p + cash + Caracal + TSF.

there will be another few buybacks for sure now, like Kim says, let the dust settle then its still the best use for company cash, even more so after these results.

And yet the shares are trading at the same price as a couple of weeks ago!

so we are looking at full year profit after tax of around £4.2 million. Wow. And that's before any contribution from TSF, plus we have cash + caracal shares of around £4 million, all for a market cap of £15 million. Still crazy cheap, buying more, not selling single share below 12p. Stripping out cash the p/e is still around 2 and that's before the TSF profits hit (and yes 8p a share is conservative, assumes about 25% recovery).

Very solid - I wish all my precious metals plays were of this quality.

I would have thought that they will wait to see what the price reaction to the announcement before they authorise further buy backs. Perhaps they have a figure of 10p in mind.

Didn't quite understand the TSF bit. Not sure why they have to transfer the TSF to the new TSF to send it down the pipeline. Perhaps they are going to do some beneficiation before they send it.

I make the numbers;

Pog1234, we discussed on this thread a couple of months back. There are some key unknowns such as precise recovery percent and how profits will be shared with the processor. Best guess is GDP benefit by somewhere around our current market cap.

GDP goes from strength to strength, just like Kimboy, Sea and I suspected back when it traded 2.5p. TSF news is the big one, that transforms he group and should add 5-10p per share in profits alone, market hasn't got a clue.

Does anyone have a view on how profit will be generated from the 82K ounces of gold in the TSF? Just a few hundred dollars in profit per ounce will contribute significantly to the profit of GDP!

Molatovkid, I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think the cash in transit will also trigger payments from us back to the suppliers and so it is only the margin which will feed through to net cash.

This is a very good result in my opinion. I could not have wished for more. When the TSF is in operation profits will increase even further. I would be surprised if the share price does not move significantly upwards today.

It really is amazing to see our market cap stuck under 14m. That's 1.5x operating profit after deducting net cash. Obviously zero value assigned for TSF.They likely couldn't renew the buybacks until today's announcement was out of the way. Let's hope they now carry on.

Results are wow!Heading towards around 8m operating profit for the year. 2m cash in hand. Getting close to a solution for the TSF. Expansion of PGM ability goes live this month.

Kimboy, I think you're correct and they will now be through their £200k. Monday is a holiday and so renewed RNS on Tuesday hopefully.

rand price of gold actually up 5% this month, since rand/$ has moved 10% in our favour, the market has missed this imo, focussing on the $ price of gold.

It doesn't require a shareholder vote afaiaa. The company would need to request it from the Takeover Panel I think.

I think it comes under the Rule 9 whitewash requirements. As far as I know, it requires approval from the takeover panel, directors and shareholders but I could be wrong. If I were Martin, I'd simply sell into the buybacks retaining 29.9%. I'd treat it as a dividend.

I think they will probably need to extend the buyback programme middle of next week. They can still buy around 700k shares up to yesterday.

I presume that they are going to have announce another buy back extension shortly.

If the price remains under 10p then the logic is going to hold up to the 10% that they are permitted to buy back.

It seems to me that there are probably a lot of long term holders who are pleased to get out with their money back, presuming they have. Each incremental increase in price will flush out further punters.

It would seem likely that Martin Ooi will get a waiver of some sort. Not sure on the procedure. Does it require a vote?

I would expect an ops update and the extension of buy backs to be announced together.
