Has anybody seen sight of the company which is listing Kili?

For the last 12 months, his only real mistake has been advocating the oil and gas sector as a hedge against the crash. He invested at the correct point following the march crash and is now in cash waiting for the big crash.

I agree with him in its entirety except timing. I think he is premature and we are a couple of months from the meltdown. I've stayed out of silver because I think it will collapse to 2 year lows before rebounding strongly. Gold will also fall but less precipitously.

I am in agreement about the market meltdown and include gold in that but it will in my opinion bounce back strongly. Just Gold and Silver I mean.

He's been long gold for well over a year and so will have done very well. As you can gather by reading, he is currently in complete market meltdown mode, including gold.

For an alternative view on gold, contrarian investor Stephen Kaplan has just sold out of metals. hTTps://truecontrarian-sjk.blogspot.com/2020/08/investors-should-always-keep-in-mind.html?m=1

I think we've probably cleared out the profit takers and so can get back to 8p plus. I see no reason for them not to pay a dividend. If they do, suspect it will be around 1p giving over 10% yield. That will attract a lot of interest and the price could fly.

It's mind boggling.I reread the Operational update this morning. £3.2m cash, >£5.5m Operating profit this year. That's 75% of the current Mkt Cap.The company HAS TO return some money to shareholders in the form of a dividend or a buyback.

The gold price seems to have gone for a walk.

What a shame the company can't buy its shares.

When you can generate enough cash over the next 18 months to buy back all your shares at the current market price, you know you are undervalued. Fundamentals eventually win through but it remains a mystery as to what the catalyst will be that re-rates onto fundamentals.

It was 14p-16p in 2007-2012 when Gold traded closer to $1000.I accept it's not going to get back to that level overnight but we're not even back above Jan 2018 highs of 8.3p!Are we really not better off than Jan 2018? Gold was $1300 then. Cash balance was £918k.

Dinky, we hit a 12 month high and so there will be profit taking. Give it a couple of weeks and we'll be 8p and above again.

Looks like he's happy to keep accumulating, at least until forced to stop at 29%. Why not? We see value and he'll see more than us.

We've just bounced off a 12 month high and so profit taking is going to be big business. It might even last for a few more days.

However, to add to kimboy's post, build in the extra price for gold - likely over 2000 for most of next year. Add-in the missing production from Covid. Add-in extra income from tolling. Add-in concentrating on highest recovery business to take advantage of the gold price. These will take GDP to the £6.5m I mentioned previously and justify a double digit price based on trading. Add-in the cash and share ownership of kili - another 2p at least. Then, what if a dividend? Then, what if African miners / gold shares are re-rated?

Based on current trading and assets, I see 12p as close to certain over the next 12 months. If the "what if" scenarios come about, it could easily go to 17p or more.

With recent gains there was bound to be some profit taking.

Quite so Kimboy.

You are quite right Lowtrawler. So often people think the ADVFN trade column can be taken at face value. Only by regular testing of bid/offer can one get a better idea of whether the two columns are correct or not.
