18/9/2020 09:27 | fair enough -I'd say the $1k margin is high but the stake likely higher than 20% and the smelter 1% more than makes up so looks good - if we add that to Kimboys Q4 Profit annualised after tax of c £4 mill (posted here on 3rd August), that gives us an annual profit after tax c £5 mill which would be nice. And that's before TSF and Ghana tolling, things looking cheap again.... | shill10
18/9/2020 09:22 | Around $1k margin per ounce X 7k ounces = $7m. Assume we have at least a 20% stake = $1.4m plus the 1% NSR. | lowtrawler
18/9/2020 09:15 | how do you get to that number, Lowtrawler ? | shill10
18/9/2020 09:09 | me neither Kimboy - I guess though at anything close to those production figures the 1% smelter royalty becomes significant to a £12 mkt cap company. All going well Kili could net GDP something like £4-5 mill in the medium term if Pap shares do ok- and the key thing is there is finally zero downside. | shill10
18/9/2020 09:07 | Even 7k ounces should give GDP an attributable profit of over £1m a year. Not bad for a loss making disposal. | lowtrawler
18/9/2020 08:58 | The agreement is for Mayflower shares to a value of $1.5m. The amount of cash to be put into Mayflower is a minimum of $4m. The amount of shares GDP get will depend on amount Pap put into Mayflower. Seems to me if Mayflower execute to produce 25k ozs in a couple of years then the GDP stake is worth a lot of dosh. I am not holding my breath though. | kimboy2
18/9/2020 08:30 | I assume it's 1.5/5.5=27% ? | shill10
18/9/2020 08:29 | Werner - " We are delighted with the positive outcome from Mayflower's due diligence and GMR should be completing their due diligence soon." | shill10
18/9/2020 08:15 | does anyone recall what % of Mayflower will GDP own ? | shill10
18/9/2020 08:04 | Kenyan approval will likely be the only delay. I see Papillion say; Additional mine and process plant optimisation studies are underway and are to be implemented upon completion of the Transaction to achieve annual gold production to current design capacity of 5,000oz, increasing to 10,000oz and to a run rate of 25,000oz scheduled for Q2 2022. I also see that Gerrard is a non exec at Papillion | kimboy2
18/9/2020 07:58 | My reading was they need to raise the $4m | frazboy
18/9/2020 07:42 | My reading of the RNS is that mayflower are now ready to complete and it is we who need to finalise our due diligence. | lowtrawler
17/9/2020 20:47 | Decent size trades today, i bought a few more when it dropped a tad. | avsome1968
17/9/2020 16:39 | Decent volume today even if most of it was selling. Any ideas why? | lowtrawler
17/9/2020 14:14 | Yep, 30 September. | lowtrawler
17/9/2020 13:55 | Awaiting results. See what damage Kili has done. | russman
17/9/2020 13:24 | We should hear something of Kili soon as the date is approaching - completion or an extension | kimboy2
17/9/2020 11:44 | Someone just offloaded 500k and there were a few more mid size sells earlier. Suspect boredom has set in with some investors and they are moving somewhere more exciting. As long as gold stays over 1900, I still think we'll get above 10p in the not too distant future. | lowtrawler
15/9/2020 08:16 | Yes, same as they have done since time begun.Time for the share price action to be taken out of Mkt Makers hands.Takeover (Martin Ooi) , institutional buyer (broker needs to make some noise) share buyback/dividend (GDP mgmt)...... | dinky00
14/9/2020 14:32 | Strange drift down on next to no volume. Not gold price related. Just a normal MM shake? | lowtrawler
11/9/2020 00:09 | finished on a bullish candle today the hammer? | avsome1968
09/9/2020 09:43 | Price sensitive RNSs which should be coming up are:Ghana tolling; Completion of kili; Stronger operating results due to pog.It would be nice to add new contract wins to the list but even nicer to announce buybacks / a dividend. | lowtrawler
09/9/2020 08:05 | sea - you are right - we have a number of relatively dormant assets which are long due to be monetised due to increase in POG? | michaelfenton |
