18/6/2020 08:54 | Martin could just see the future value here as Gold climbs well beyond $2000 in the coming months / years. Remember after the financial crisis Gold doubled in the years up to 2012. Food for thought considering the current state of the world! | smackeraim
18/6/2020 08:08 | Lowtrawler - this is AIM and MMakers often have a hidden agenda. On the surface nothing makes sense and it is hard to get a handle on things. Yes we need an RNS. | michaelfenton
18/6/2020 07:46 | It's too early to say whether Martin is good or bad for us. For sure, it's always nice to have a large buyer but we don't know enough about their intentions. There is some sort of obscured trading activity currently taking place supporting the price. I'm not sure what's actually happening but it would be great for a supportive RNS to be released. | lowtrawler
18/6/2020 05:36 | To be honest Marin Oii has been a Godsend for GDP. However I suspect he is just a shrewd investor who sees the longterm value. Just my opinion. The company needs a shake up? | michaelfenton
17/6/2020 18:21 | Looking at the trades this week 1 million sell today 500k yesterday 1.2 million Monday, but share price goes back up wonder if Martin still buying them he wont be far of percentage wise to make a offer for GDP. | avsome1968
16/6/2020 08:50 | Looking like that may have marked the end of someone exiting their position and we are now slowly climbing? Let's hope so. GLA | lowtrawler
15/6/2020 21:07 | The buying has cleared it, so it's now reported. Onwards and upwards! | smackeraim
15/6/2020 19:43 | that trade was done on the 12th jun | sea7
15/6/2020 17:22 | The only late trade was the 1.15m which looks to have been a sell. Not sure why £50k of sell should have caused the price to rise? Could that be the last batch of a longtime seller? | lowtrawler
15/6/2020 12:30 | What's happening today? Gold falling but we're going up. Not much visible volume, big purchase being worked behind the scenes? | lowtrawler
14/6/2020 07:11 | The simple answer is we don't know. There was discussion about him owning a hedge fund but attempting to Google that comes up empty. It is entirely possible you have linked to our man but we don't know. | lowtrawler
13/6/2020 00:20 | Is Martin Ooi the same guy who is senior analyst at KPMG?https://assets. | smackeraim

12/6/2020 16:00 | Yes sorry Lowtrawler - I should have made it clearer but knew you would work it out? | michaelfenton
12/6/2020 14:34 | You had me scratching my head on GDP for a minute there. You meant Gross Domestic Product, confusing on this thread.... | lowtrawler
12/6/2020 14:28 | Lowtrawler - thanks for the confirmation of my own views. Logic alone tells me that a crash is coming. GDP down 20% for April in UK. | michaelfenton
12/6/2020 14:08 | It's worth checking out Steven Jon Kaplan's views on the market. They are a contrarian investor who is seen as something of a doom merchant. However, they have anticipated many of the recent moves, both up and down, over the past couple of years. Most recently, they have sold all their investments other than precious metals. They are usually a few weeks early in their predictions but it points to the major crash happening soon. | lowtrawler
11/6/2020 11:18 | What a shame GDP isn't listed in the US. Robinhood traders would have driven it up to $10 by now | dinky00
10/6/2020 21:02 | Nice rally during Powell's press conference | terry508
10/6/2020 13:22 | OECD says UK GDP will fall by over 11% in 2020 more than any other developed nation including Italy, Spain and France. And we still do not know the exact result of Brexit? And yet the FTSE is still rising? I mention this because the good news for GDP shareholders is that the POG should rise. Most companies will see reduced profits and some losses and consumer confidence will fall off a cliff? Gov borrowing will increase and who knows what will happen to fiat currencies? I think I am right to be pessimistic. | michaelfenton
10/6/2020 08:40 | avsome - thanks - I too will add to GDP if it falls to he 4p mark if before the next trading update. | michaelfenton
10/6/2020 08:17 | M/F I too hold 45% cash at the moment will wait patiently for the market to turn the opposite way i did say the middle back end of June the worm will turn we shall see but everything that risers that quick will also come back down that is fact how far who knows, but gold will come good back end of the year with a weak dow maybe a dip here and their but gold will remain strong, got a decent holding here and still in the blue so if further weakness i will add while others sell. | avsome1968
10/6/2020 08:09 | Not a fool, it will come to pass. Just don't know when. Could be tomorrow, could be next year. | lowtrawler |
